This was our first stay in Savannah, Ga. I traveled with my husband and two sons. I selected this property due to the proximity to the squares. It is a bit of a walking distance to the river area, but we didn’t mind! The staff were all so wonderful and added to the stay. The room was clean as well as the other areas in the hotel. The bar was a nice place to grab a quick drink before heading out for the evening. I opted for valet parking, but want to make a point to say that there is a parking garage right next to the hotel so you can park yourself, but the valet staff were just the best.

My husband and I visited last weekend, and we were less than impressed. The hotel seems recently renovated and is mostly nice. However, the bathrooms seem to not only have not been renovated (which is fine), but were also unclean. The shower had mold and mildew and hair (not ours) in it. Aside from that, the property itself was fine. My biggest issue was the parking. There was no self-parking, only valet. We got there around 9pm on Friday evening and the valet on duty told my husband that we could pay him $30 in cash and he would park the car. He did park it (in a 2 hour spot down the street, we later found out), but didn't record that we had paid, so when we left and returned the next day, there was no evidence that we had paid, so the new valet on duty added it to the system, where I was then charged an additional $60. This is absurd and shady and bad practice.

The location and area of the Hotel A/C could’ve been more accessible

Room was very clean, staff was nice, park was an issue due to no one could drive a stick shift…. We had to self park but still had to pay for valet parking , felt like we should have been given a discount. Overall a very nice place to stay. Still no breakfast available, that was disappointing

The lamps and furniture in the rooms were dusty. I also found the floors in both the bathroom and the room to be very dirty; when I wiped the floor with a damp towel because it got wet, it was clear how much dirt had accumulated. Another inconvenience is that the hotel does not offer free parking and charges $30 plus fees per day for valet parking. In addition, I had a very unpleasant experience with the valet service. A valet employee at the hotel told me that using the hotel’s valet service was cheaper because the public parking lot located across from the hotel was more expensive. However, the next day, we spoke with a hotel guest who told us that the public parking lot was actually cheaper than the hotel’s valet service and that the hotel also uses that same public parking lot to park its guests’ vehicles. I felt extremely upset and deceived by the information I was given. I believe the hotel should be transparent with its guests and provide accurate information about parking costs. Also, the hotel does not offer breakfast, and it was difficult to find a place to have breakfast in the area because parking was very limited and often full. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.

My vehicle was damaged in valet parking but unfortunately I didn't realize it was until I arrived home. There was damage done on my front side by my tire look like it was brushed against the side

We had the best time at this hotel. The staff were so amazing from check in on Thursday till check out on Sunday. They were so helpful with any questions that we had regarding recommendations for food and things to do in the area. The hotel was very clean and the location was perfect. We will definitely plan to stay her again.
