Cambria Hotel Savannah Downtown Historic District

Our stay was just okay. I was pleased with how clean it was but although the staff was helpful, the process for valet was somewhat convoluted. Only 3 cars max can fit in the space in front of the building so I getting your car parked was frustrating. However, the valet was very kind and polite; and receiving my vehicle to leave was convenient. Our refrigerator didn’t work, there are no fans in the bathrooms, and half the pictures I was shown as being the room we booked was not the room I was given (I primarily chose it because it had a balcony in the picture), the DirectTV and connection for the television wasn’t working either. Thankfully the staff changed our room and we had a better time in the second room. I enjoyed my time overall but would probably choose a different hotel experience next time.

The valet is inefficient. Three times we tried to get our car. Three times nobody did.

Everything was excellent for the most part! The hotel staff was very accommodating to me, considering that I had an injury. The only downer was the valet. The first day the valet was on point but the next day and the day of departure was very sucky. It took forever to get the car and the valet was just sitting around and we were waiting on our car. Other than that, everything was great and I definitely will stay again.

Excellent location. Valet parking was not competitive with free parking at nearby properties. Third stay. First two times were great. This one was dampened by the afternoon check-in desk. 3 star. Everything else 4 or 5 stars. Will return, however.

The property was very well kept in pristine condition. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and welcoming the rooms are.

We particularly liked the 5:30-7pm "Kick Back" session with free supper buffet & 3x alcholic drinks for the grown ups as well as the free breakfast advertised. Would look to use this chain again

Amazing stay

This hotel definitely deserves a 5 star rating! The staff were amazing - very helpful and accommodating. My room was very clean, and so many options for food that were in walking distance. The food from the hotel’s restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The only downside was there was no pool. Will definitely stay here the next time I visit Savannah.

The front desk was very nice and helpful . We couldn’t watch tv while in room it kept buffering. The second day while their housekeeper knocked on door once and while opening door . Didn’t give us a chance to say we were still in unit. The last day we were planning to sleep until close to check out but we were awaken by a housekeeper that was feuding with her significant other on speaker phone and while in hallway. All in all the valet guy and front desk personnel were very friendly.

It was very clean and the staff was very polite and courteous.

The Cambria is a lovely property that just needs a little help. Its location is nice but a little too far from the river tourist area to walk- so be forwarned. The valet guys were very helpful and nice. The woman at reception wanted to be somewhere else. Not very helpful or knowledgeable. The room was really modern BUT- no reading light by the bed (only over the couch) the most conveniently located UBS plug didn’t work, and a personal fetish was they put the toilet paper holder to the side back of the toilet so I had to twist to get to it- and with my bad back I hate that. Overall the property was clean, the room pleasing and the free coffee in the lobby really tasty.

Clean and good location. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Couldn’t get towels or wash cloths for our stay.

Very close to everything. 10 minute walk to the river, 10 minute walk to the main park and 1 minute walk to the best coffee in Savannah, Origin.
