Holiday House Inn

I booked this hotel through Expedia and then my father’s health took a drastic turn for the worse. He then passed away and his services were scheduled for one of the dates I had booked. Being 7 hrs away from the hotel I cancelled my reservation and requested a refund. After reaching out to Expedia twice they said they were waiting to hear back from the hotel manager. It has been at least 2 weeks and still nothing. I’m very disappointed in Holiday Inn.

Very clean yet older place. Easy parking and very friendly staff. The beach is absolutely perfect for walking, it’s really flat and the sand is white and soft.

The registration desk person was friendly, proximity to beach perfect. Great 4th of July fireworks viewing from the front of the hotel. I thought our view of the beach would be different, so had unrealistic expectations. The room was clean, just dated.

The best part of this place is that it was right next to the beach! Front desk was very pleasant and informative!

Exceptional

Breakfast was good. Pastries, yogurt, cereal, plenty of coffee. Microwave available, shared kitchen available.

I liked the location, walkway to the beach, room is very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Private parking for 1 car. Beds were not comfortable.

How close it was to the beach and the kitchen that we could all use. Baseboard heat, which we did not have to use. Large crack in the back door for our room.
