Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg

Stayed here during ALA and loved the location and the room.

Stopped here for the night and it’s in a very convenient location with nice, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend it for either an overnight stop or if you need somewhere to stay for a bit while in Schaumburg.

Staff at the front Desk Non Professional and non Cooperative, even Lying sometimes.

How this property got a rating of 9.2 I’ll never figure out. Carpet in front lobby completely disgusting and torn up. Floor mats leading to front lobby looked like they were chewed on, puke on mats for hours til mentioned to front desk staff who were just having fun and didn’t seem alarmed. No greeting to guests coming through door WHATSOEVER. Unhappy faces. No room charge allowed at “bar.” Temporary bartender that was not set up properly, the next night bartender entertained his local buddies in the 5 available seats. He wasn’t happy about giving just ice or water to a hotel guest. Cushions removed from under us as we were sitting outside as paying guests of hotel with visitors. Had to ask for honey and peanut butter at breakfast buffet because you’re a supposed 9.2 rating and to cheap to put them on buffet while there’s 6-8 worthless items out for oatmeal. “Cage free” eggs don’t come from a box! Towels in room were paper thin and shedding. Trash by elevator for 2 days. HUGE potholes as pulling out of hotel to right. All in all, I’d say this hotel needs to stop rating themselves and find the GM a job in a park picking up dog poop. No matter what, that person is entirely overpaid.

Friendly staff, convenient location, and easy parking. Room was fairly clean though elevators could’ve been cleaned more thoroughly. Complimentary breakfast about in line with what you get at other chain hotels offering similar rates — not good but serviceable.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean. They also give you a day pass to a nice gym down the road from the hotel to use. That was excellent!

This is our go to hotel when staying in the area.

Breakfast wasn't great. Needed healthier bread, fruit. But morning staff helped me get peanut butter, etc. Front desk was slow. I got charged for something I didn't buy, but they couldn't fix my bill. Good location. Near Target, Spring Valley, Woodfield.

We decided to stay here because our flight canceled. We called ahead to make sure there was a room available. Not sure who answered the phone that morning of July 6th but they seemed they did not want to talk to us or was just moody. Other than that, the stay was short and great. Room was super clean and great amenities.

This was the perfect stay for my family. The pool seemed maintained, decently sized, and the relatively warm water was very pleasant to swim in. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Was in a good safe area. I have no complaints and would stay again.

One last unexpected perk was that a they partnered with the Lifetime gym, so we visited there a few times while we were there. The process was so simple. Would stay here again.

Affordable, clean and quiet property. Breakfast was great for what it is and staff was very friendly.
