The bed was very uncomfortable

Nothing. Absolutely nothing and I will never ever stay there again as well as I will never ever use booking.com who lost my reservation. What happened to me at your Schaumburg location was absolutely disgraceful. I had a confirmed reservation, yet I was denied check-in because of your failure to handle the reservation properly. The experience was beyond unacceptable, embarrassing, and infuriating. You should be ashamed of the way I was treated. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. An absolutely horrible and unacceptable experience from beginning to end. A confirmed reservation, no room, and incredibly disrespectful staff. I left feeling humiliated, frustrated, and disgusted. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was absolutely awful and unprofessional. Their attitude and treatment of me upon arrival were beyond disgusting. Words honestly cannot describe how poorly I was treated. Instead of showing basic courtesy, understanding, or professionalism, they made an already horrible situation even worse. Absolutely disgraceful customer service.

The property was understaffed! The reception clerk also went around emptying garbage, bring things to the room and handing out disinfectant when requested. The front desk staff was never actually at the desk I had to call each time I needed help the air conditioner/heater was very loud in my room and the temperature was a little clammy. I appreciated having a full-size refrigerator. I did not know that I had to request for my bed to be made up and clean towels, so I had to wait once I got back to the room in the evening.

Nothing. I had an unlocking door and front lady(Jasmine)said I can check out or stay at the room until next morning that someone will fix the door. I checked out right a way as Jasmine said. She didn’t even processed my check out with their system. She said for my refund they can not help me and said ask the booking.com. I checked in and checked out in few minutes and the charged me $398.97 which is 9/16 through 9/19. I didn’t even brought my luggage when I check out. I needed my medicine but I can not go out because the door was not locking. They should refund my money. Too many to describe here.

Not much There is no breakfast included and they claim on booking they include breakfast. The designated smoking area is right by the front door as you enter. All you can smell is cigarettes and weed.

Stayed here for several weeks during the summer. Overall, I was very satisfied. No major issues or complaints. People at the front desk were always helpful. Jasmine was very helpful to me on several occasions. My room was recently renovated and in excellent condition. If there was an issue, the maintenance man came quickly. Kitchenette was very handy for me. Parking was never a problem. Terrific location: walkable to Woodfield Mall and some nearby restaurants.

Even guests were nice. Close by restaurants, stores and shopping mall. I personally don't need nothing better. The only thing is if you plan to go to Chicago every day you better have rental car instead of using uber.

I booked this place last minute after finding out that the Renaissance and Marriott branded hotels were sold out for a convention lasting all week. That phone call I mentioned that I’d seen more spiders in that room than I can count. Along with a few other pests. Booked another hotel and only refurned to pack up my paperwork at the desk. My legs were covered in bites that warranted a complaint with the city. Bed bugs or carpet beetles. Now scabs. Don’t stay here

MainStay Hotel is a GEM ! Actually, what is generally referred to as a "Room" is actually an APARTMENT with one bed-room, kitchen, dining area with a huge table and a drawing hall of sort, with two TVs (1 in Hall, 1 in Bed-room), two closets. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stoves, a huge microwave oven, toaster, conventional oven, lots of cupboard-space. The area in which the Hotel is located is not very far from the airport (O'Hare: ORD), and has a suburban setting with well-kept, mowed lawns, wide roads. What is noteworthy is that a Target Mall is at stone's throw, one-and-a-half blocks away. There are restaurants in the neighborhood. Actually, I had to check-in at a rather ungodly hour [since my "United" flight got canceled], but the lady at the front desk responded to the phone call instantly. Thankfully, a police vehicle also patrolled the area, which was reassuring. MainStay Hotel is far far more that you asked...supersedes all your expectations. If it were not for Booking.com suggesting me the Hotel at the eleventh hour (aftermath of a canceled flight), I would not have known about this GEM of a HOTEL ! Good housekeeping keeps the Hotel spick and span. All the front-desk employees are courteous, helping and giving clear-cut directions for various neighborhood locations. They do not offer breakfast, but that is not an impediment as Target Mall is just close-by. They have a guest laundromat, but it comes with a high-tech overdrive--- but for its usage, you have to register your credit card, revealing all the details, which could prove risky.

I was at your Schaumburg location for a funeral. My room bathroom sink was clogged and there was only one towel for 2 people. It was disappointing there were no ice machine in your establishment, first hotel I ever stayed at with no ice machine. My room was not at all ideal for 2 people, there were 3 pillows which were too small and flat, I did not rest well at your hotel. I will not be returning.

New property, very clean, larger bathroom, kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and stove.

Property entirely renovated. Looks clean and fresh. Great location. Walk to Woodfield mall.

Exceptional

The room was dirty, and the premises were sketchy. Nearly every surface of the room was sticky or greasy. The sheets had a stain, the bathroom sink was clogged with visible gunk, and housekeeping never came by (after a week). There was also no Wi-Fi or service, contrary to the website description. The premises felt sketchy because the outside doors didn’t lock, and people loitered outside the building and in the hallways. Finally, the younger man with messy hair at the front desk was surprisingly condescending and unhelpful. I actually left halfway through my stay for another hotel. I’ve never written a review for a hotel before, but my experience at Mainstay Suites Schaumburg warranted it.
