DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Schaumburg

I let the tag out to have my room cleaned after the second night of my four night stay and they did not clean my room. Everything else was great-location, breakfast, bar/restaurant, and staff.

This hotel is tired. Needs updates. Price was too high for the condition of the hotel.

The staff were very nice and friendly and the room was very clean. The elevator went down during my stay though and there were no vending machines on any of the floors despite there being signs for them. Also the breakfast options were very limited. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Not a complaint, but I would suggest updating the tvs in the rooms to smart tvs.

The hotel is old, outdated, and I don’t think it’s owned by Doubletree.

Up to date I requested days in advance for a early check in when I booked the hotel I even called and was told yes just call back the day of I called at 7 am was told they don’t know hotel is booked call later so I called and kept calling told nothing yet ….im sorry but if I have someone calling for an early check in I would atleast have house keeping clean the room first 210 I finally went up there cause I was running out of time I booked a king bed corner bed when I got there I was told I still had to wait until finally I’m not sure the girls name but can give a description helped me and got me in a room but not even a king it was two queens I needed to decorate for my gf birthday with balloons and flowers but also needed to get back to work I hired someone to decorate so I paid double for her to wait and then rush in time again the lady who stepped in did help I do really appreciate her cause by her voice I know she’s not who I talked to on the phone

VERY run down and not a 4 star hotel in any way shape or form. Needs renovations very bad. Scuffed walls, black mold by the windows in our room, scalding hot showers, terrible elevators, no pool. The list goes on...

The carpet in the room adjacent to the bathroom wall was wet. I sent an email about this issue and I have not received a reply. My son had his laptop on the floor and was all wet as well as his socks. I called the hotel and I got an answering machine saying that the line is not in service. Not very happy with the experience.

Toile handle was broken so it kept running we had to jiggle it frequently. Water was extremely HOT in shower and sink.

Clogged sink and bath tub. No microwave in the room. Old furnitures

Not good experience no enough facility no microwave in room and I ask for baby to warm milk might time they don’t have electric kettle even so and not clean carpet was also so dirty not stay next time very bad experience

Food, atmosphere was good Event outside, too loud trying to sleep wtf

The toilet constantly ran. It was a lil annoying, but that’s a minor fix
