Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Schaumburg

A/C was not working as well as it should. the room was humid even though A/C was running. Also the charging outlet in the nightstand wasn't working.

Overall a great stay. Elevator was having malfunctions, but the front desk lady was very prompted to inform us as well as very informative. Breakfast wasn't half bad either in the A.M.

Breakfast was ok- there was a nice selection of different items. The location was convenient for what we were doing in the area. Both elevators were out of order the entire stay. No attempt to fix them until Monday as they would have to pay overtime on a weekend and it wasn’t an emergency since no one was stuck in the elevator.

Elevator was acting up during our stay. Otherwise great hotel for our 2 day trip.

Everything went well with our stay minus the troubles with the elevator. Yes, we were told before hand due to it making loud nose but then by the evening it just stop working. So we had to take the stairs. Normally I am okay with that but it was just a bit difficult when having to go up and down the stairs with our luggage. As well seeing others struggle especially the elderly having difficulties.

We stayed in three different hotels and I was most excited about this one. Checking in was simple and the lobby and breakfast area was nice. The rooms didn’t feel clean and weren’t properly maintained. A lot of details made it seem like they weren’t professionally done and looked like an inexperienced carpenter threw the room together. It also felt dingy and dirty. I couldn’t wait to check out and move onto the next. I was a little disappointed.

Check in wasn’t great as the front desk was busy talking the latest gossip. They checked me in quick enough but there was zero communication or welcome to the hotel. Hotel was clean enough but staff service leaves you wanting. My hotel room had no shampoo which was disappointing because it means cleaning staff didn’t prepare the room for the next person’s stay. Called hotel staff for shampoo twice and finally received it an hour later right when we needed to check out. Probably will not stay here again.

I dont want to write anything about anything. Please don't bother me all the time with these surveys and reviews. Leave me alone!!!!!!!

Hotel room is nice & clean. It could have been perfect if the elevator is working. We had a hard time bringing down our luggages but overall it was good,,

The elevator wasn't working some of the days. There wasn't a microwave in our room. The breakfast was well stocked. The staff was friendly.

Clean and some staff friendly. Elevator was not working most of the weekend. Why do you have to wait til Monday to fix it?? Pay someone to fix it! I am a disabled person! I can’t go up and down 4 flights of stairs! I am at risk of falling.
