Hyatt Place Chicago/ Schaumburg

Same with pillows and bedding. Just not as comfortable as in the past. Hyatt Place usually has a welcoming smell when you walk in. This property no longer does. The breakfast in the morning was just meh, compared to past years. The taps for beer in the lobby were not working. Happy Hour used to be enjoyable. We will be looking for a different property for our annual trip to Chicago in the future.

Breakfast was ok. The first time we stayed at the Hyatt, the breakfast was amazing, but this time it was lacking.

The woman who checked us in was very friendly. Room was clean, a little dated. The bathroom is very small but the room we had was very spacious with a couch and desk. We were in the room next to the elevator so it was extra noisy. You can hear everyone in the hallway and there was a loud group staying on the same floor as us. The phone in the room didn't work but we did call down with our cell to the lobby after midnight and he said he would call the room. It was finally quiet by 1 am. I know that is not the hotel's fault when other guests are rude and noisy but both nights we were there it was annoying. We ate breakfast one morning, it was fine although they ran out of plates and other items by the time we were there. All in all for what you pay it's not bad.

This is a good location in that it is walkable to a lot of restaurants and shopping, plus easy freeway access. Property a bit lacking in that grounds had not been maintainanced (lots of weeds) for some time. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean. Breakfast was very popular but okay.

Always a great hotel love this place great location and great property

You claimed a pool and the one available was being repaired. I picked your hotel because of the indoor pool and that i was there with my granddaughters. Very disappointing.

The hotel is very nice. The front desk staff and management are very nice and helpful . I have stayed multiple nights here and the breakfast is very good in the morning including eggs and hot food along with fruit and juices.

We liked everything

Clean room and breakfast was good should add bacon and sausage to the menu

Had to very disappointing interactions with staff . Asked for 2 blankets and I was given curtains. I asked for additional towels, staff was more concerned about her conversation on her cellphone instead of assisting with my request. She asked whoever she was to, to hold on. She gave me the towels and made a noise to indicate her annoyance.
