Hyatt Place Chicago/ Schaumburg

My dog and I had a terrific unexpected stay after experience and a power outage- how far is the room was clean and one appointed with a beautiful view to the fountain in front with ducks and geese to watch-the staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating, and the complementary breakfast was awesome thank you Hyatt Place and staff for taking such great care of us during what would’ve been a stressful time! You saved the day!

I lost power during a thunderstorm and needed to stay at a pet friendly hotel nearby. I got lucky when I googled the Hyatt place in Schaumburg my dog, and I had the best little unexpected staycation. The room was clean and comfortable with a big window looking out to the fountain in front and the staff was very accommodating. Also, the complementary breakfast was delicious. Thank you Hyatt place and staff fortaking great care of us during a stressful time. You all were such a comfort to my dog and I.

No comment this place is very nice

This property was just ok. It was clean but it definitely needs to be updated. The room was dark and old. The bathroom door lock was broken and the facility was just ok.

Black mold was in my room the other room that they put me in had black mold as well and the carpet in the room very musty smell like the carpet hasn't been clean in years plus I was getting out of the shower housekeeping was in my room at 8:30 in the morning but check out isn't until 12:00 the day before the housekeeper is had my door cracked open a little the housekeeper walk right in on me

The reason I wrote is was ok was because the WiFi was not working and I needed to do some work. Other than that that the place was nice

The hotel team was very friendly, the facilities well maintained and clean, and the location perfect. We travelled with our dog and felt welcomed. 4 paws up.

Everything was clean, conveniently located near shopping and food, good breakfast. No signage on where to find ice machines anywhere so that was really the only bad thing we encountered, which is obviously not a serious concern.

It wasn’t a good experience staying at this hotel. The staff when we checked in was not helpful. Breakfast had very limited options and didn’t taste good at all

Easy check in, easy to find. Clean room and friendly staff!

The daily breakfast was good but don't be late. While they say it's until 9:30, they start clearing things out at 9AM.

The facility safety was excellent. The cleanliness and organization of the room was noticeable. The room could have more privacy by including some sort of separation between the beds and the living area. The swimming pool was not available during our visit. The sofa bed was not as comfortable as expected.

I5 would have been nice for the pool to be open.

Had dirty towels all over hallway and right outside our room at check in. Stated we could get a refund if we reached out to Expedia and then denied said refund
