Great place to stay with family

Bad experience.

We have been here serval times and usually love it. However, this last time was not that great. Our refrigerator had hair throughout it, our hot water pressure in our bathroom was horrible (barely worked), carpet looked dirty, and the outside amenities wasn’t all available. This time was not the same as others.

Staff were very kind.

This was a first experience of the resort style stay. It was amazing. My only negative was the pressure of the shower. Other than that it was indeed superb.

The hotel is under new management and there's an ongoing renovation of all the rooms. The property is dated, yes, but the location and size of rooms more than compensates. My wife and I both love the showers..easy to understand, great pressure.. no mean feat these days. The beds are very confidant and the kitchen for the suite is an actual kitchen.. full stove, dishwasher, etc.

This has to be one if not the best place my family been to. We were very comfortable here and the rooms were spacious and clean. Oh, the breakfast buffet is s diamond. We will do this again

Room was clean and kitchen stocked with necessary kitchenwares. Comfortable beds and pillows.

I like the bed and the pillows it is so comfortable good for sleeping. There are stains on the pillowcase and some hair on the bathroom wall.

Room layout was excellent. 2nd washroom was a bonus. Living room carpet was well past it's life - dirty. Bedroom carpers were fine.

Location and quick check in A.C stopped working during my stay in one of my rooms that i stayed 1323, went to ask staff for a fixture or solution but staff wasnt aware of any emergency repairs nor they have any idea how to provide solutions. Upon asking for a fan they provided and we had to sleep on a fan inspite multiple complains and requests but staff absolutely refused to help. I opened a ticket with manager for partial refund but i havent heard anything till today.

Never been so baffled in my life. Went to Schaumburg for a friend’s wedding and booked the sonesta suite in advanced. When we got there we got our room key. When I went to open our room, I noticed other peoples belongs - such as shoes, a bag, curling iron, flowers in the room. I shut the door and immediately returned to the front desk. We waiting for them to short out another room. After waiting the staff came back out to notify that they were sold out and no rooms available. Me and my husband called every hotel in a 2 hour radius and could not find anything. We called for about 2 hours straight before we gave up. even checked Expedia again and everything was booked for the night. No options for us to stay. Me, my husband, my baby and mother had to drive 4 hours home. I then had to drive back again the next day to attend my friends wedding. So disappointed in Expedia and sonesta.
