Perfect place for a construction guy that smokes in the front parking lot. No coffee maker in the room, no cups, no silverware, I wanted to make some tea after a long flight. I had to go to the front desk and beg for a cup. I was there for a week. I bought cups and silverware. I empted my own trash. The first guy at the front desk was great. The others were grumpy. No exercise room. No business area, which I needed for printing. There was a desk in the room which I needed for working. Nice mattress I did sleep well. I would not recommend unless construction worker or large family with dogs trying to get out of the heat and enjoy a swimming pool.

It was good for what we needed. However It was pretty understaffed.

Convenient location in Scottsdale centrally located. You can go north or south to old town. About the same distance. Some pet owners are going to pick up after their pets. Has nothing to do with the staff or The Extended Stay.

Trisha the Manager was AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, the floors were clean! I've stayed in many hotels where the laminate flooring never feels clean. It was clean! Rooms were spacious and the grounds of the hotel were clean and pride has been shown to keep it looking that way. The breakfast could have used stronger coffee. Ha! We will stay here again!

Front desk staff were great, super friendly! We loved having a kitchen and being able to cook our own meal after a week of eating out. The room seemed very old and had that old smell but other than that, it served its purpose.

Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Parking is great. The only issue we had was that we had to throw our own trash in the dumpster, but the dumpster hasn’t been picked up in weeks.

Room had dirty wash cloth hanging in the shower. Also smelt like cigarettes. Gym is subpar at best.

We received a call prior to checking in and were told that the room they were originally going to put is in had maintenance issues so they were moving us and would comp the whole weekend . When we showed up and they realized we booked through hotels.com they said they could not comp our stay because it would be hard to get our money back way

I attempted to get a refund because my husband ended up in the hospital and was admitted I was told I needed to go to the front desk when I came back to get our stuff and the manager would make a decision . I did not have time for that because my husband was in critical condition . If I tell you the situation why do I have to come back and let the manager decide . It should just get taken care of .

Spacious clean room, convenient, and reasonably priced for the area.

The kitchen 'things' are a la carte. You tell the staff if you want dishes etc...all carefully explained on a card. We wanted something to heat water for tea that didn't reek of coffee and they complied. We asked for a toaster...and it was immediately available. We needed a second chair, which was not quickly available, and a staff member brought a folding chair from his own home...so we ended up with 3 chairs and the couch...perfect for our needs. Some things needed improvement...a document could not be printed until the next day, for example. The room seemed pricey...but it was Scottsdale in March, during spring training. Location and supply and demand. And for us, for personal reasons, this location was perfect...in every way. I take exception to those who complain about the breakfast: 1) they clearly state it's grab and go, like many properties we've been to....and 2) you have your own kitchen for heaven's sake. Would we stay there again? We're in Scottsdale twice a year for about a week. I would have no problems staying there again.
