Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale North by IHG

The property was under renovation so hard to tell how well maintained on the exterior. Room was very nice; especially like the walk-in shower and the fact that there was actual maid service!

Great location. Elevators did not work. 3 story walkup. Tv had trouble. Cookies were food. Desk staff when I checked in were nice.

Lovely place. Me ans my husband have stayed here multiple times. The only thing is that I take my pillow because they are uncomfortable. This time around the property was getting a reno, which is needed. I hope they fix the door to the outdoors area and the elevators that are outdated. The breakfast is really good and what makes us come back to this place every time. Bang for your buck! The ac was not working on the main areas during the reno, but it worked great on the rooms. We went on July so this was noticeable in the kitchen area. 8/10 just cuz of the complications of the reno but staff was nice and attentive 10/10 for them!

Liked the quiet location, unbeatable price, cool quiet room and comfortable beds. Nice bathroom and amenities. Friendly staff, Delicious coffee. 24/7 work out room. Air conditioning was superlative, which is critical in Phx summers!

The employees were nice but they were having renovations during the time that we were there causing one of the two elevators to be shut down while we were there. The water was also cut off for a couple of days from noon to 2 pm but they provided fair warning

Exceptional

Location This was the worst hotel stay I have had in my entire life. No working ice maker on the third floor, (I had knee surgery and needed ice) no toilet paper holder, no towel racks, no racks for shampoo in the shower, (I could not reach the floor due to my knee surgery) way too soft beds, hot hallways, hot in the breakfast room, no juice at breakfast, workers kept propping the door open to do the trash and leaving it open. No freezer(I needed to keep ice frozen)No microwave and coffee maker. (I saw coffee cups on the cart so I know some people had coffee makers) (The construction was no issue since we were there on a Saturday am)

Television was broken. Front desk not helpful and told me it would be a "hassle" to move me to a room that had a working television.

It was a good stay.

Everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this hotel. My elderly parents spent five days there, and the staff went above and beyond to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. Kudos to all the staff, especially the front desk team.

It was a great location staff very friendly and gave good recommendations for eating places. We did have a few issues our bathroom door didnt close was hanging a bit and the elevator kept going out of service.

Excellent location, very dog friendly, fantastic breakfast, comfy beds and very quiet rooms!
