La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Phoenix Scottsdale

Check in was great: friendly, smooth and efficient. Both our rooms were spotless and well appointed, definitely much more than I expected for the reasonable price. We headed right for the clean, well-maintained pool and hot tub. The hot breakfast was excellent and well-stocked.

We just booked out 3rd stay here in 4 months. It’s the best La Quinta I’ve ever stayed at lol we will keep coming back, great garden, great pool, great breakfast! Only complaint is the elevators are a little hot

The breakfast was disappointing 💔, it looks like play food. The "omelets" look dry and fake, the sausage looks undercooked and tasteless. We obviously did not want to try it. What we did try was the muffins and waffles. The waffles were normal, nothing wrong with them, the muffins were dry, they taste like dirt with chocolate chips, nothing special. When I went to print labels to mail out my packages the print was super faded out, when I went to ask the guy at the front desk he claimed that's the best copy I could print since their toner was low.

Day 2. Went to pull back my covers and the comforter had a very large spot (resembled animal urine) Pulled apart bed and mattress cover had 2 very large spots as well. While I was at work the replaced the bedding and hair dryer. I then take a nap and wake up to my toilet running, they couldn't fix so I had to change rooms which took me about an hour because of as much stuff I had with me due to being there 11 nights. Multiple days. Had to keep getting new room keys because they wouldn't open the side door and at one time my room. Lighting in elevator is horrible and scary. I cut trip short therefore I will never use booking.com because when you have a bad experience you cant get refunded for the days you leave early

Great customer service down in the lobby! The breakfast is a great addition to the stay and was quick and easy. Every once in a while the keycard wouldn't work. Overall though it was a pretty good stay for the price.

The convenience and ease of parking Just so close to the freeway but that wasn’t a big deal

Check-in was fast and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast needs some meat other than sausage. Room was very good, but bed was too soft for my back. Notified the hotel at check-in that we had a disabled person in our group and would need a room on the bottom floor which they gave us but it was a very long walk to the breakfast room especially for the disabled person.

The staff was very helpful and friendly the whole time and made sure we had everything we needed The side door did not work and it was very inconvenient

I personally thought the room smelled... I guess had a weird smell to it. I first thought urine? My son said no. Especially in the restroom. Paint maybe? IDK. I just didn't like it.
