Sleep Inn North Scottsdale near Mayo Clinic

The staff members were courteous and helpful, and Sleep Inn gave me a shuttle ride to Mayo Clinic. I had no problem with noise, both the guests and the building itself kept quiet.

When we walked into the hotel, I politely approached the front desk and said, “Hi, my name is so and so I’m here to check in.” Instead of greeting us or even responding professionally, the front desk employee working that night literally put his hand up toward my face and made a “shoo, shoo” gesture, telling me to “step over there” and wait in the corner. I was absolutely shocked. Whatever was going on behind the desk does not excuse treating a paying guest this way. A simple, “One moment please, I’ll be right with you,” would have been completely acceptable. Instead, I was made to feel unwelcome and disrespected from the moment I walked through the door. This was an extremely disappointing experience and completely unacceptable customer service. Management should seriously address how guests are being treated at the front desk, because this is not how anyone should be welcomed into a hotel.

Great stay super friendly staff, Great breakfast, clean rooms. Air conditioner didn't get as cold as I like but also AZ is extremely hot so I understand.

I liked that fact that the room had a microwave and mini fridge. The unfortunate thing was that the mini fridge‘s freezer was completely covered in frost. I could not get my small ice pack in it.

Washer and dryer was down. But, the staff helped me with a few items I needed washed.

The staff was so helpful. We were there for a doctor's appointment and our plans were not really set in stone. They were very helpful and worked with us. It was a very good experience.

I stay here several times a year. Clean rooms. Good value overall. Reasonable price. My go to for my business trips in Scottsdale.

The overnight front desk attendant was rude, had an attitude, seem like we were bothering her by checking in. Seemed like she didn't want to check us in. We just finished driving 400 miles to get there so we were tired and didn't want to raise the situation. We just wanted to sleep from our long ride. She should find another job if people bother her.
