Sand Castle Inn

The property was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were really clean. Service was great.

Room was clean and staff was courteous upon checking in and also when checking out. Would definitely recommend staying at the Sand Castle Inn.

Well this place isn't great. We had a pair of underwear in our room when we got there and just so we're clear they were not ours. The shower has horrible water pressure and the TV doesn't work very well. It kept skipping and acting like it was having a hard time loading. This was in both rooms we had since they switched our room due to the underwear in the first room. The beds were decent and that's about the only good thing I can say about this place. You get what you pay for I guess. I thought with all the good reviews it would at least be decent but sadly it was not. Oh yeah the parking is terrible as well.

Great spot because access to airport, shopping and restaurants. I can't complain about a thing.

Hotel room was clean. The walls are a bit thin, but otherwise no complaints. It's within walking distance to a few restaurants.

I love how they furnish you with the best shampoo and conditioner. Lotion is a little runny

We had a great stay. The hotel is walking distance to a shopping center and not too far from the beach. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean, I have no complaints at all

The staff were friendly and helpful though it took awhile for someone to come. I guess because it looked like a family is running the whole place by themselves. Room was clean an fully stocked. The only complaint was the AC needed to be reset for it to work. I would stay again. We love the code to enter the room so no more issue with key cards.

Check in and check out with the owners were not the friendliest. The area was safe enough. The room itself was clean and updated but very small and cramped. Air conditioner worked fine as did the fridge and microwave. The TV worked only one of the two days we were there. Parking can be limited. Area is walkable. Shower temperature was good but the pressure was low. Wooden blinds over the window looked nice, but let a lot of light in. Less than 10 minutes to Monterey. No breakfast. Mostly quiet. Overall, decent for a short stay.

We've stayed many many times over 2 hrs now and have always been greeted pleasantly. Rooms clean, quiet, we like it here

I like the location in the middle of everything. I would say at night kinda hard to find parking

Friendly Staff; clean, comfortable room.

Dead bolt wouldn’t lock. Had to use force to lift the door to make it work. Then it took two of us to forcibly unlock the bolt.
