Everything was great

I wanted a clean and safe place to stay. This fits the bill. The location is not in the tourist district. There are several ethnic restaurants across the street. The general public areas including the elevators are old. But, the interior of my room was good and remodeled. The interior spaces of my room were very clean. I felt my car was safe. I did not use the pool as it was too overcast and cool. However, it did look well maintained and inviting.

For the price you pay it’s an okay stay. Room did smell a bit like bleach and by the way the walls might be a bit thin because you can hear everyone’s movement at night and in the early quiet morning.

Very Clean, close to Monterey. Good price They couldn’t tell us where our room was and we had to wander to find it after a long trip. The cleaner walked straight into our room at 9:30am with no pause after knocking. (Check out is 11:00am). Then the front desk called about our dog barking at her- which is a normal response when a stranger - which was disclosed at check-in.

Elevator permit outdated a few years. Decent room but included damaged furniture. Convenient laundry facilities. Ice machine down below. Balcony access from room.

I know this sounds silly but I loved the shape of my room the floor space was fine but it was wedge shaped climbing from about 7 feet at one side to about 20 at the other

Staff has poor communication. They knew about construction that was taking place over night, in which they would need to turn power off to the whole hotel. They didn't even tell me when I checked in , no sign to give you a heads up. I woke up to no power no lights and no hot water to shower. Unacceptable.

The room was great, so was the bathroom. The location also was quite good, close to the beach and other places. There was lot of noise coming from main road next to the room. Room had large glass windows, so the lights were a bit annoying.

Great room. Clean.

Comfy bed, not, clean shower and bathroom. The air conditioner clicked on and off every 15 minutes all night no matter what settings we used. Room was too warm all night. Worked great, tho, as we were leaving.
