It was centered in a great location, and the light rail was only a block up. Plenty of food around, and the people were very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nothing, it was a great experience.

Location was perfect for someone who's planning to take a train. Room was clean and it's convenient to grab Chinese food.

Clean and very good environment. Like everything

Location Blinds don't block out sunlight, and early in the morning it's already too bright, making it difficult to sleep. It would be a good idea to add curtains or roller blinds to block out the sunlight.

safer place to spend the night than at an upscale hotel. We did expect basic accommodations but the price was right!

Passable

Security was good. Kitchen was clean. There was a space to put freezer and fridge items. They let us stay in wait area until our train came in 4 hours after checkout time. Free towels for use and a good shower. Not a lot of places to sit in the room. The ladder to the top beds last step was a big drop going down to the floor. I actually fell the first night getting down. There wasn't a lot of air circulation in the room but there were some fans available in the common area to borrow, the windows didn't have screens and the walls and room needed some upgrades as to damage on wall and just a paint job would help.

Exceptional
-
Great kitchen and common areas, on-site laundry machines and dryers, and I even used the arts and crafts room. Perfect location with access to every possible mode of transit plus many cool things to do in CID nearby Window blinds were partly broken, did not do a good job keeping the room dark

Overall the place is good and clean. The facility worthy of money The receptionist. Elly I believe the receptionist was handling me during check in. He intentionally sent me to lady dorms and instead to make it right he sent me to another place with the wrong bed sign. I want to believe he just makes innocent mistakes but how he so rudely handles the situation is so disappointing. And please note. They do not have a Receptionist or security incharge after 8pm. For a hostel to accommodate a lot of strangers without supervisors during vulnerable nights like at midnight in a hostel where a lot of strangers share rooms. A lot of things can go wrong just my observation.

The staff was absolutely top notch, the facilities were cozy and I enjoyed the communal vibe. The lounge was really pleasant and overall they clearly take care of the place. I liked the key cards for the doors which made everything feel safe. Awesome TV, game, music room. Laundry was great. Kitchen was awesome. Great location right off of the light rail. Within walking distance to WAMU Theater where we were seeing a show. The bathroom has a moldy smell. The blinds were broken in my room so I couldn't get it dark at all because there were street lights right outside the window. Also, needed to have the window open to keep it cool, but the alley below was filled with trash bags and piles of trash and it smelled awful.
