Nice hotel. Old and full of character but clean and comfortable rooms. Lots of history in this hotel! Good location. Better than it looks from the outside. The main entrance and the cleanliness on the exterior don’t do it justice.

We stayed here for a short overnight trip to watch a Mariner's game. The location is great! The station to catch the train to the game is literally across the street. The stadium was just 2 short stops away. VERY comfortable beds and the rooms were BIG. The complimentary breakfast was like going to a sit down restaurant. The Polar Bar is so cozy and their cocktails were very yummy. We will definitely be staying here again when traveling to Downtown Seattle.

We recommend to anyone visiting downtown Seattle.

Great!
-
Poor service at happy hour. $75 valet parking! Stained rugs in the room. I’m a terrible part of town so many sketchy people we didn’t feel comfortable walking at night
-
very rustic, unquie style rooms. great bar and staff
-
Clean rooms excellent staff amazing experience with the valet and breakfast was wonderful, one of the best hotels in seattle hands down.

Amazing place.

Architecturally gorgeous and aesthetic. Great location less than a block to transport stops and Starbucks. The area around the hotel becomes a little sketchy once the sun starts to go down/businesses close, so I didn’t feel very comfortable wandering after dusk. During the day I had no concerns at all. The bar area was relaxing and a nice place for the evening, especially as a solo traveler. Bed was very comfy and included free breakfast was a great perk!

Extremely noisy air conditioning unit. Would look at another option rather than rebooking this hotel

Second time at the Artic. Everything is outstanding.
-
Nice hotel. A bit more gloomy than what is shown in the photographs. But A+ for the staff.

Our stay was very good.
-
Nice place, central location, room was comfortable (except for the fan in the bathroom running all the time), cool bar.
-
And the staff was excellent, very helpful, and nice! The rooms are clean and stylish. And the food was delicious.
-
Wonderful! Great bar and restaurant! Very clean and up to date accommodations!

The hotel staff was friendly but the restaurant/bar staff was absolutely horrendous. Not only were they extremely inattentive to our party but they extremely lacked hospitality. No smiles, no small talk. Just millennial staring and sub par service. Also they’re one of those establishments that puts gratuity “included” in the price, but also leaves a large section for you to leave additional tips atop that. Staff was not interested in offering a partial or full refund for the fact of the A/C not working in our room at all through out our stay. We had originally booked two nights, the second for after our cruise, and we ended up canceling that. Maybe they’re a nicer spot during the winter when the historical building can accommodate comfortability to its patrons with the weather considered. However I would not recommend this for what the price is at all!

Overrated. We booked one of the costlier rooms but were given a room at the back overlooking a car park. Nothing great about the hotel.
-
Everything was excellent and the location was great, closes to all the main amenities

This is a hotel with character . It has a fun history and the decor reflects it. The lounge area is comfortable, we had drinks, played pool and ate a meal there. The rooms were clean, good amenities, There was a French press coffee maker with good coffee. We will definitely stay there again. The light rail is a three minute walk.
