Booking.com did not send our reservation to the hotel so we had no reservation and had to wait and pay extra to get the same hotel we paid booking.com for

This hotel is not firing on all cylinders. It is in need of some care and attention. It’s not a bad hotel but it is not worth the cost. The elevators take a long time as they are not all working. Two of the four washing machines were not working. The breakfast offering is small and chaotic.

The strike made it impossible to sleep past 7 and Hilton does nothing to accommodate their patrons. The room itself was okay but they use barn doors for the bathroom that have a solid half inch gap in them which lets light through when someone uses the bathroom and is disruptive to anyone trying to sleep. Overall, for the price, it's not worth it.

Within walking distance of T -Mobile Park. 13 coins restaurant in the same building Only 2 elevators were working and the employee service elevator wasn’t working either. The wait time for the elevator was 20 plus minutes and was packed with people. We spoke with a housekeeper while waiting for the elevator and they had a big cart trying to get to another floor. The one time we were able to catch a down elevator It stopped at every floor going down but could not fit anymore people in so another frustrating wait for us in the elevator and those waiting for an elevator. In the morning we had to take the stairs from the 13th floor to get down in a timely manner to ensure we could catch the ferry on time. I’m in my 60s with bad knees and it was hell walking down. We met several people taking the stairs up and down. I’ve never seen a hotel stairwell so crowded before. Also the 7:00 am sirens and banging drums and chants from the striking service workers was annoying on a Sunday morning. There were hard copy memos at the front desk but I wish they had let us know before we checked in on both these issues. I had asked for a partial credit since we paid $1000 for the room and parking for one night but was denied. We couldn’t even get an elevator to get breakfast on the second floor and we weren’t going to walk up and down 12 stories Overall the stay was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations. Won’t stay here again

The front desk staff was excellent and helpful. The hotel is situated right downtown near concert venues. Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of a labour dispute. Protesters were outside of the property. They were very loud and disruptive. It would have been nice to be given a heads up before checking in. There is an option for parking but it is expensive but convenient. The room was good but needed a deep clean.. hair on the floor, crumbs in the pull out bed …. The phone in the room had a low battery and beeped throughout the night before we figured out what it was.

Location is great in the Pioneer square and near train station. There was a loud demonstration in front of the hotel during the time we were there. but we could not hear them in our room.

The proximity to lumen and t-mobile park was great The workers were striking and they were very obnoxious and would wake everyone up very early. We were exhausted all weekend long. We would have liked to been informed of the protestors before arriving. It was a shock and so disruptive to our stay. The staff isn’t apologize or say anything.

Location The staff was on strike so It was hard to get service

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

Warning: Search for union strike status before staying here. Without their full staff they didn’t collect dirty dishes we left in the kitchenette weren’t and temporarily staff struggled to answer our basic questions! Also loud picketing started at 8am every morning. The hotel is in a great location & we paid well for it. Such a disappointment that hotel owners won’t negotiate with employees & end the month’s long strike!

Great location when you’re attending events.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

I didn't realize, and wasn't told, that to use the elevator you must first scan your room key. I was exhausted and this information would have been a blessing to my tired brain

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

Available staff was friendly, breakfast was good, room was clean and spacious. Was not warned about ongoing worker strike on booking. Loudspeakers, shouting, and drumming starting at 7am.

The Embassy is on the block next to King St Amtrak station, so easy for travel and visiting albumen afield and the TMobile Park

The hotel was great, however, I was not alerted that hotel staff were on strike prior to our arrival. Once it was paid and checked in, we were told. We were woken up at 7am. Im with the workers and would have NOT crossed the picket line. Shame on this organization for not coming to the table with a viable solution. They want a livable wage, healthcare, structured hours, and notification when ICE is in the facility. This is not unreasonable. I bought them coffee and will not be spending money here until this is resolved.

Stay was as expected from a 4 stars hotel but I did notice the bathroom exhaust fan was not working and the lotion bottle was out of lotion. There was also this laud union protest at the front door all morning. The bed was super comfy and everything else worked fine.

    Bad

The Embassy Suites had picket line in front of the hotel. A siren was waking guests up at 8:00am. The hotel management only did something if guests complained. The coffee at breakfast was horrible.

The pool area was good. We should have gotten notice the place was on strike. It should have been posted in your information about Embassy suites. All the noise from the strike started at 7:00am
