Myself and my two young kids experienced an elevator entrapment! Hotel miss managed response. I was compensated a gift certificate and some snacks. The loud pickers at 9am was the cherry on top.
-
Hotel is right next to the train station, making it convenient to walk to. The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast in the mornings were excellent.
-
It was close to the sports stadium and walking distance to pike place and easy to get to off the I-90.
-
Great omelet bar at breakfast. Other choices were unfortunately more typical.
-
Great facility. Only exception was the ongoing strike that was taking place outside that disrupted the ability to get in and out of the hotel and your ability to sleep
-
Part of the staff was on strike. They started banging drums at 6:40am every morning we stayed.
-
Their pool was great. Very big and well maintained. While we didn’t use the gym or laundry services, they seemed clean and well mentioned. We would definitely come back.
-
Excellent service

Dispute over final bill was a concern but has been resolved.
-
Top of the line Embassy Suites that was convienently located to my needs when arriving by Amtrak. Beautiful suites and the staff was top notch.
-
Would have been fine but apparently there is a strike with the workers and they were protesting starting at 7 am banging drums
-
Staff very helpful and just steps from every thing in downtown Seattle!!
-
There was a protest tried to sleep once arrival the protesters where right underneath the leave I was in I couldn’t sleep then the next day it was the same racket starting around 5am with drums . I wish I had known before arriving the reason they were protesting I would have not stayed.
-
The hotel and the staff were both amazing. The free breakfast is top notch. Problem is the staff is on strike, I literally had to walk through picket lines to do anything. Main problem was that the protesters started with sirens and drums every morning at 6am. I have to wake up at 6am when I work and was very sad to be woken up to incessant noise at 6am when im on vacation. 5 stars for the hotel, 1 star for the terrible noise!

Noise 24/7 and dirty rooms
-
Arrived at hotel to find out hotel workers were on strike so no cleaning services were provided. Moreover, couldn’t sleep the two nights due to hotel strikers making terrible noises at 6 am.
-
Why the 1 star? As you can hear in my videos from my room on the 14th floor there are employees protesting outside and it is LOUD. After paying nearly $400 a night to sleep at this hotel, very little rest was achieved due to this. We went out Friday night and returned late around 2am. The garage was closed but my husband was able to get security to let us in. At about 7am we were woken up by a sonic boom 💥 as protesting started. They didn't stop until late evening that day. Next morning same thing. I'm recording this right before checkout, as it's been super disruptive to our very expensive stay. There's a letter from management on the counter acknowledging the protest and stating that it isn't disrupting service, the problem is that they knew this was happening and didn't notify guests before check in. We would have stayed elsewhere because spending hours in a room with this noise is horrible. No compensation or accommodations were offered to offset this. The noise is everywhere, the breakfast/ cocktail area is LOUD! You can't escape it unless you're at the pool. If you haven't checked in yet book somewhere else!

There was a strike, bad hotel to be at right now
-
There is strike going on in the front door of the property and they are very loud. I was on the 5th floor and couldn’t take a day nap because of the noise that they were making.

Wonderful stay!
