One of the best hotels I have ever stayed.

The impressive lobby was not only beautiful, but functional to find a quiet working area. The staff, the room and the location were all great! Will definitely return to this location.

The rooms were very clean and tidy. As a blind guest, I found some aspects of the hotel unnecessarily inaccessible. The in-room iPads do not start with VoiceOver enabled, which means I cannot independently use them to adjust the thermostat or access other room functions. When essential room controls depend on a touchscreen, accessibility really needs to work from the moment a blind guest enters the room. I was also very frustrated by the lost-and-found process. After leaving an item in my room, I contacted the hotel through Booking.com and was told to use a WhatsApp number. That number is not registered on WhatsApp. I then had to search for alternative ways to reach an actual person and kept encountering automated systems and virtual assistants instead. For something as simple as asking whether an item was found in a specific room, this became absurdly complicated. The rooms themselves were excellent, clean and comfortable, but the accessibility and customer support systems seriously need improvement.

This was the second time in less than a year that my gf and I have stayed at this CitizenM. First of all we absolutely LOVE the way the entire lobby and first floor looks. It’s perfectly put together. The colors and the artwork are spot on. We LOVE your staff! It’s doesn’t matter if it’s 2:00 pm and we’re just arriving there to check in or if it’s 3:30 am in the middle of the night and I’m walking out to move our car to a new location the staff is ALWAYS friendly and happy and welcoming! We are crazy about the rooms. It’s just my gf and I on these mini-vacations and so the rooms couldn’t be more perfect! We’re keen on the design and we cherish the beds being flush with the giants window. We also love having the iPad to control the room’s climate, the lighting, the mood and the blackout shades and daytime blinds, and last but not least using the iPad to control the TV (normally*). The views out of the entire hotel are fantastic and from some angles creates very dramatic panoramas of Seattle. So I only have two things to complain about….. The first complaint is totally trivial and probably wasn’t even the fault of CitizenM. We stayed from Friday early evening through to Monday morning around 10:00 am. For our entire stay the QRCode didn’t work at all so we couldn’t stream to our room’s TV. Again, this was NOT a big deal at all for us. However we just thought we’d mention it. Our second complaint is a more serious issue. That said I know it’s probably something that you have to hear about a lot and that’s the parking. It added so much more $$ to our stay and stress. Especially if we got in from the day around 5pm-6pm and was forced to use a nearby lot. It’s common to max out out it’s 12 hrs limit and as I mentioned, if it was say 5:30 pm when we parked, i’d have to get up at 5:00 am in the morning and drive around looking for a spot or a lot. I’m aware that there’s only so much you can do. I think it would help CitizenM’s bottom line and reviews if a nearby lot was purchased or leased by Marriott-International and held for guests only. Could use the type of security gate that is activated by the guest’s room key. The parking-situation is the *only* negative aspect of staying at your wonderful and damn near perfect hotel.

Great clean place to stay. A few reviews highlight the room being small… yes, it’s small but for me and my partner who stayed a few days it was perfect and cozy.

I loved the concept of the hotel. The location is awesome, the rooms are very minimalistic and techy. I stayed with my girlfriend for 3 nights and we really liked it. The only thing I would mention is the AC never gets to actually cool the room even after being outside for the whole day.

The design. The chrome cast never worked and the temperature never went above 75°.
