I heard some noise from the ventilation system coming through the windows. (They were closed, it got through)

The hotel was in a good location. The room itself had a leaking vent. I was only there for a night, so it was not that great.

The only plus point has been the location m. Unfortunately, my stay at the hotel was quite disappointing, particularly given the level of service and experience I expected from an upscale property. 1. Incorrect room despite booking a king room When I checked in, I was initially given one of the smallest queen rooms, even though my reservation was clearly for a king room. I had to contact the hotel and explain that my booking was for a king room. What was particularly frustrating was that I received different explanations for the issue. Initially, I was told that the hotel was fully booked and that the rooms had been shuffled. Later, I was told that Booking.com had sent the hotel the wrong room description and that their system showed the reservation as a queen room. Regardless of the reason, resolving this issue took a significant amount of my time. I had to wait and repeatedly explain the situation before I was finally given a better room. The only positive aspect was that the hotel eventually provided a better room, but this came after I had already lost a substantial portion of my stay dealing with the problem. 2. Difficult and frustrating housekeeping experience Because I was busy attending an event, I specifically requested that housekeeping clean my room while I was present. However, I was told that the hotel's policy requires guests to leave the room before a full cleaning can be performed. I understand that hotels may have security or housekeeping policies, but the process became unnecessarily difficult when I simply requested basic services such as having the trash picked up and receiving fresh towels. After making multiple requests, the housekeeping manager eventually came to my room. Even then, she seemed very hesitant to provide additional towels. I explained that I was staying for six days and did not have time to repeatedly contact housekeeping for basic necessities.

This is my fourth time here, on business. I love the location and staff.

Bathroom very small

We were very impressed with the Theodore all together and would definitely stay there again if we were in Seattle again! The only issue was the layout of the bathroom, the placement of the light switch was outside of the bathroom and the seal on the shower door was not the best, so water got all over the floor.

Lovely front desk staff. Being able to leave my suitcase both prior to and post checkout was a huge relief. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, although the headboard had significant damage to the leather. I was traveling alone for a convention, so the small room was suitable for my needs and the bathroom was quite lovely. It's location was perfect.
-
The room was big. Lots of room for suitcases on the floor. Also, the bathroom was soundproof. Wonderful for those who like to sleep in.

I had a corner CITY VIEW room on the ninth floor. The window on the left opened to a painted white brick wall (NO CITY VIEW), and the window straight ahead showed the roof of a seven story building that had storage for old aluminum piping, sheets of aluminum, gutters, old air conditioning wiring, basically it was a dump for old building materials. Needless to say we never opened our curtains. Calling this room an upgraded CITY VIEW was not good for a Hilton property.

Excellent staff and Riders bar was great… only issue I had was reservation system was done upon check in and electrical outlet on nightstand was faulty… otherwise everything was great

PLEASE BE ADVISED: POTENTIAL GUEST TRAVELING BY CAR BE AWARE THAT HIS HOTEL HAS MAJOR ISSUES WITH CAR BREAK INS WHEN USING VALET PARKING. HAD MY LEXUS SUV DARK WINDOW HATCH BROKEN AND HAD SEVERAL ITEMS STOLEN. THIS OCCURRED AFTER 12:30 A.M. AND STAFF DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE BREAK IN. I DIDN’T FIND OUT UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING WHEN I WAS GOING TO USE MY CAR FOR THE DAY. I EXPERIENCED A WASTED DAY AS WAITING FOR HOTEL STAFF/MANAGEMENT TO ADDRESS MY ISSUES. ASLL I RECEIVED WAS THE TYPICAL “INSURANCE STATEMENT”. THE HOTEL DIDN’T BOTHER TO CONTACT THE SEATTLE POLICE ON MY BEHALF, NOR WOULD THEY ASSIST IN TRYING TO HAVE A REPLACEMENT GLASS WINDOW WITH A CAR GLASS COMPANY. HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY RELIABLE STAFF THAT THIS HAS BEEN A MAJOR ISSUE WITH PREVIOUS GUESTS WITH NO ASSURANCES BY A “TASK MASTER MOD” WHO WAS NOT HELPFUL OR CONCERNED AT ALL IN ASSISTING ME AS PER THE HOTEL INSURANCE COMPANY. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THE CONDITIONS ON THE BACK OF THE VALET TAG THAT THE HOTEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, ETC. STILL WAITING FOR SEATTLE POLICE TO SEND A LINK TO OPEN A FILE. WILL ALSO NOW HAVE TO FIND AND HIRE A SEATTLE LAWYER KNOWING FACTS ABOUT THE BREAKINS OF CARS AT THIS HOTEL. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

Excellent bar and restaurant

Location and decor was good Our room was too small. I bumped my head several times on the tv and there was no floor space once cases were out. No dressing table for makeup etc . We paid around $1000 for 2 nights yet they still charged for water in the rooms. The headboard was ripped which spoilt the look of the room and should not be in a high end hotel.
-
We definitely enjoyed our World Cup stay at this hotel. The valet, front desk and servers in the bar were very friendly. The location was very walkable to all the attractions and watch parties. Would definitely stay here again.
-
The staff was great and the hotel nice but the room was extremely small for two people. They provided bikes for guests but the bikes were not safe.

5 stars for The Theodore. It has the perfect location, friendly staff, and the rooms are ADORABLE! I was torn between this hotel or Inn at Market… so happy I decided to stay at The Theodore.
-
I loved this place. Staff extremely friendly. My room was tiny but had everything i needed. I didn't use the gym. The little cafe in the lobby was nice. It's a wonderful location. 7 min walk to the Pike Market.
