Booked this stay for the holiday weekend with the kids in hopes of hanging out at the pool—arrived to find out that the pool hasn’t worked or been cleaned in months. Would have been nice to be notified of that within our cancellation window being that this is the middle of Summer and the pool is something people like to enjoy on their getaways. The next day we found some stuff to do to get out for a bit and returned to a “dirty” room. We had left our towels on the restroom floor so that we could receive fresh ones…didn’t happen. And trash cans were full. Room was not serviced and when we asked for towels, they didn’t have any to give besides the pool towels (which I guess makes since because the pool doesn’t work). Then, one of the towels we were given had a weevil or some sort of bug on it. When I asked why the room wasn’t serviced, I was told that it’s only upon request—again…something that was never mentioned. To top it off there’s literally a sign in the restroom that says to leave your towels on the floor if you want them changed but mentions nothing about it being upon request only. The breakfast was okay. The only real positive was the desk attendant was friendly despite not telling us about the housekeeping method. Needless to say, we will never book at TownePlace Suites again.

Be advised. There is a $10 pet fee they charged I didn't see in the description on Expedia. Nice clean room. Good breakfast.

Staff was friendly but when we got to the room there was no sheets for the pullout bed so we had to go down and get them. We were told they had no extra pillows. The pullout mattress was filthy and stained and only a couple inches thick. You could feel every single spring. We weren’t able to use the pool because they said they were waiting on a part for something to be fixed. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling around the fan and the tile in the bathroom floor was completely loose and moved every time you walked on it. I was shocked to find this note in this condition because it looked fairly new and the nightly rate was even more expensive than staying in downtown San Antonio.

Very comfortable. I've stayed in your hotels for months at a time. Always satisfied.

Everything was great

It was a good hotel in a small town

Staff were quite helpful, the 2nd room was pleasant, everything worked in it, the first room we tried(accessibility room) was run down and dirty and had a smell but the staff allowed us to change which was fantastic. An elevator, the washer and two ice machines were broken though and only the elevator was fixed during the stay. The breakfast was a bit better than expected which was pleasant. For the price we got the value was good. Would recommend.

Appreciated the breakfast. Very much appreciated the kitchenette with the larger refrigerator The bathroom fan was Extremely Loud and tied to the light switch. It needs to be separated so the light can be turned on without the fan. I found myself going into the bathroom and leaving the light off just to avoid hearing the fan

I thought for the money spent that breakfast would be better. Luckily there are restaurants near by but other then that it was great!

Property was clean. Staff was polite and helpful. Only downfall was a bright blue flashing light in bedroom all night, coming from some sort of sensor or something on ceiling. Beds could be more comfortable, but it was manageable for a night.
