There were ants and crickets on the main floor lobby and hallway to stair well. In our room the shower/floor mat was visibly dirty though we hadn’t yet used it. The floor by the window and A/C unit was wet. The hand dryer in the pool bathroom was poorly installed and screamed of hazard as did the blackened and corroded hair dryer unit in our room bathroom. The hallways and stair well reeked of marijuana and the second floor was musty smelling on top of it. Would not recommend this hotel.

Best super 8 you will find!

Located close Mystic Lake Music venue.

They offer a better deal for a hotel in that category I say they are abt a 3 star rating for a motel company it needs to be remodeled and they will be a very decent motel any anyone using an AARP CARD I WOULD ADVISE THEM TO USE IT FOR A BETTER PRICE
-
The staff is very helpful and courteous however we did find what appeared to be mold underneath one of the beds and as most hotels in this price range had a very pungent smell of weed in the evening
-
Short visit room was good bed was super comfy. Did not use amenities or have breakfast. Price a little high

Location was fine for the area I was traveling to and from. Hotel was okay. Walls were paper thin and could hear absolutely everything, even in the middle of the night was worse from washing machine noise, people showering in the very early morning hours, like 1am...just overall was able to hear everything. Pillows and bedding were stained so thankfully my daughter and I had brought pillows from home.

Just a beat up old hotel, toilet seat was loose, was so hot in the rooms.

The rooms were amazing and perfectly clean, the staff was friendly and wonderful and the breakfast and pool amenities were amazing as well.

Either hotel staff is lying or Hotels.com. due to the severe air quality that appeared within 24 hrs of travel I spoke to the hotel and they said there was nothing they could do, that they did not have my money and Hotels.com did. Customer service at Hotels.com called the hotel minutes after I directly spoke to them and told them they would not change or refund stay that could not happen for very apparent travel restrictions from the Canadian/Boundary Waters fires. Not sure who is lying but either way I could not simply reschedule the stay or be refunded so this is on my do not stay list when in the area for future travels.

It was a little sketchy. There were a lot of creepy people hanging around outside and in lobby.

Superb

Motel was just what we needed to sleep.

Very friendly staff Pool had a strange aroma matching ferret musk. Our room was similar but seemed yo have just been repaired assuming some sort of flood as the cabinet side were swelled and rotting at the bottom. The rear exit had no disability access or switch for ADA. If there was a fire in the hall anyone in a wheelchair would be trapped inside.

its a good place to stay for the price. staff is very friendly and they they have put a lot of time and effort into making this property great. it is an old building and there definitely needs to be some upgrades done. if you need a place on a budget its the perfect spot. my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. breakfast was limited but for the price and on a holiday weekend it is more than ok.

it was very noisy and the breakfast was totally carbs and no protein at all. My granddaughter is gluten intolerant and could not have any breakfast! Very disappointed!
