Best hotel in the area hands down

That it was in the same parking lot as chili's. That you couldn't walk to the stores and shopping without crossing roads where their is no walk way or sidewalk. Also the room layout was horrible. It has a tv facing the bed and while you were on the couch you would be looking at the back of the TV.

Hotel is going through major repairs inside. There was debris and mess (especially by the elevators), the elevator area also smelled bad. The carpets are stained and nasty looking. Room looked like it was just straightened up after the last person left. Didn't have the cleanest feel walking into it. Pillows are loud and crunchy due to being mostly feathers. I would not stay here again.

Hotel under construction so every floor has dirty rugs, piles of debris near the elevators. Room was fine, bed comfortable, shower was good. Half fridge froze all our veggies. Breakfast supposed to have a hot portion but didn't either day. Pkg lot is too small, it's a struggle to fund a spot each day.

Could hear people running in the room above us at all hours of the night and early in the morning, this was very disruptive. I’d expect better for 200 a night. Also, the fitness center is definitely below average for hotel fitness centers. Staff were helpful for what it was worth and the breakfast seemed good.

Very accommodating staff. Going thru some renovations but overall a top tier facility.

I thought the staff was amazing. Especially jeremy, he was one of the nicest people I ever met in this profession. I love the fresh baked cookies every night. I was in the middle of a difficult transition, and the staff was so kind and welcoming. The staff was very accomplishing, helpful and handled it requests or things needed in a timely manner. They made a very tough experience, super pleasurable for me.And I will definitely be back. I didn't love the fact that they were in the middle of a renovation, but that is something that is no one's fault. The variables that they could control, they did control. Overall i'm very pleased with my experience and I would one hundred percent stay again, and recommend.

The room was very clean and spacious. I liked that there were no rugs in the rooms. The staff were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great. My family and I loved the pool and we really enjoyed our stay!

Really dirty and loud. People coming and going at all hours slamming doors and talking loudly.

Property was undergoing renovations.

the breakfast buffet needs to be revised. Only chocolate waffles can be had. When we asked about regular waffles, we were told they were not available! Totally unexpected!

As soon as I walked in, it was warm the greeting was warm. Everybody was nice and very helpful and very informative. They had a pool and they had complementary breakfast?

Hyatt House is our go to when we visit family in Shelton. Centrally located, good breakfast, nice rooms, we've never had a bad experience here
