Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport

The front desk was less than friendly. When I arrived to my room the door was propped open. I felt very unsafe entering not knowing if someone was in there. I checked the room and found the bathroom to be dirty with hair in the sink and a used makeup sponge in the sink. The countertops were obviously not clean as well as the floor. I called the front desk to report the door being open and the room being dirty and feeling unsafe. I requested a different room and was told they were sold out and that housekeeping “sometimes leaves the door open”. She did over to send the maintenance guy. Not sure what good this would have done. He did come and I told him he was not needed and he also blamed it on housekeeping. I would definitely not recommend this hotel as it didn’t feel safe and was not clean at all. There are much better options for sure.

On the outside, it was very nice and clean, but in our room, the floor was absolutely filthy. The sink was dirty. The drain in the bathroom shower was barely draining after a shower and the counters in the kitchen that were filthy as well and also the sofa. How dirty the room was

Great hot breakfast

The staff was great and very attentive. Breakfast was always good as well as the coffee. We had a handicapped room which was very accommodating and spacious & clean. Will definitely stay there again.
