Motel 6 Shreveport, LA

Room was badly mildewed, towels were dirty, sheets stained, and visible black mold around the ceiling fixtures. Pool out of service, vending machines empty, and despite the claims of the website there is no breakfast, though I would be quite dubious of any food prepped there. The building does look quite nice from the outside.

Its smelled.like mildew, the AC barely functioned. And the room was not clean

There was no one at the desk upon check in. The hallways smell of some type of food I can’t describe. The linens were absolutely filthy. The pool was not available nor were there any other amenities. There are red ant hills all over the grounds. Will never stay there again.

Not good I’m sorry

It was a budget price for a reason. Was dirty. Bathtub had a hole in it. Floors not fully cleaned.

The room has mold build-up around bathtub. Rooms really need to be updated.

This place should be shut down! I would like a full refund! It has standing water in the Halls, the entire place stomp. The bathroom door was hanging by a screw.

The place hasn't been renovated in a long time; there's rust in the bathroom, and the refrigerator and microwave are old. Plus, there's a strong smell of smoke throughout the hotel.

Beds were ok and the shower was hot, otherwise the stay was mediocre at best. Lighting in the bathroom poor and no coffee maker in the room meant a wait on the 6 am coffee that arrived at the main lobby 10 minutes late. Probably gave a better review than deserved, but alls we needed was a bed and hot shower and then out.

Nothing Everything

Do not stay here. It seems as if the owners live here and stay up all night running up and down hallways. It was horrible. I rarely give reviews but thought I needed to review this place as a warning for others.

It was good

One of the best hotel beds we have ever slept on. Super soft towels. Shower lacking water pressure and shower head needed replaced.

Air and heat (!) worked perfectly. A cold front blew in on my last night. I felt very safe at the Motel 6. I travelled alone, so that is a big deal. I parked in front of the venue, which was very well lit. I slept like a baby both nights. I would definitely stay there again.

First and foremost, I accidentally booked a smoking room—at least that’s what the manager informed me at check-in. The room itself was old and It felt like no one had bothered to update for ages, and the state of disrepair was appalling. To make matters worse, the toilet didn’t even work properly. I only needed a place to crash for a short period, but this hotel made my stay far from comfortable. If you're considering staying here, I recommend being extremely cautious. Save yourself the trouble and either spend a little more or look for a different hotel. If you’re on a very tight budget I get it. But don’t stay past one day.

FILTHIEST place ever! Bath tub had cigarette ashes and dirt in it! Towel for floor that was on the tub was WET !! Toilet moved and rattled every time you sat! Handle on shower was broken! Smelt like marijuana in the hallway both when we arrived and left! Girl up front did not even get up to greet us stayed sitting behind the desk with her phone and foil pan of bar B Que!! Sink had cigarette ashes in it too! Just filthy all around ! Nothing!!!!

The location is great. It’s near the airport in a quiet area. The hotel is run down, stinks, and has roaches in the bed.
