Hampton Inn Simpsonville

Staying here was amazing very helpful and nice to us my son was being deployed and the extra care ment so many ch to us will stay here again . We also left our jackets and we called and after our son left we went and picked them up they had them for us at the desk .

Very clean and updated. Justin at the front desk had great people skills and knew his job very well.

The staff were great as was breakfast. The a/c in the room leaked and carpet was wet. Room very dated and very low flow from bathroom faucet. I really would have liked a bottle of water in room or check in as I have had at other hotels. I might have to travel to area again but this will not be my first choice

This is our second stay at the property this year. Our room was fine but we were staying with friends and the baseboards weren't attached to the wall and the ceiling was falling down in the bathroom. We did however check in on Tuesday and had to ask for room service on Friday. Says you will get room service every other day. Also, I don't mind using towels for 2 days, but I really don't want to have to use washcloths more than once. We were only given 2 for two people.Had to ask at the desk.

The food was mediocre The place is old very not kept well. Very outdated doors. Don’t close properly toilet bowls don’t flush lotta staining on the rug. Beds are not comfortable in a terrible location. Looks unsafe there’s bums hanging outside watching over your cars. Refrigerator was not working. Had sensitive medication that needed to be refrigerated that I had to use it cooler. My first room bath bathtub was clogged. They referred me to to another room which had more dysfunctioning amenities

Definitely an older property that needs updating. Staff was very friendly but seemed way too casual from the way they addressed the guests and their appearance with lack of professional attire. Room had a slight musty smell, smoke detector hanging off ceiling, no black out shade on window so light would come in the room all night and the sink would drain very slowly.

If you need handicap room with a roll in shower, do not book at this hotel. They claimed that Hotels.com did not send them the correct information but wouldn’t show us any proof. They put us in a handicap accessible room but I couldn’t even close the door with me & my walker in the bathroom. We will not book at this hotel again. The staff was not helpful at all.

Nice and clean

The included breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly as we went in and out a lot. I’d say the only “downside” is that the pool is small.. but to be fair.. we only saw someone in the pool one time so it wasn’t crowded or anything like that.

If you are going to stay here call the hotel directly to book a reservation. Do not do it through Expedia.
