Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City

The casino was very smokey and there was no table games available to play, we felt as though our play was not welcomed. Which we did not play at all walked around for 1/2 hour and said no thanks and went back to our room and went to sleep. Could not wait to leave in the morning. The meal and staff at the restaurant however were very good and would be the only reason to ever return certainly not the casino, which was the main reason for our decision to stay here.

A great room with very tall ceilings. A nice way to get away from everyday life and have a relaxing day.

Great experience! Parking was easy, the food was excellent, and the room was fantastic. I also requested a late checkout, and they were kind enough to accommodate my request. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Overall this is a great hotel and casino. The only real drawback was that the 3rd floor hallways and room had a musty odor that detracted from an otherwise great location.

I’m super impressed with the rooms! We’re driving across country from California to Maine and were only going to stay here one night. But we decided to stay two! Very friendly and helpful staff. Tina was especially helpful in getting us our second night.

I have stayed here several times and not an issue but this time we had 2 queen beds and the sheets were so balled and thin had holes in them. They were so wrinkled I’m not sure if they’d been cleaned. I have better rags at my house. Spoke to the desk and no apology just they would let housekeeping know. Unexceptionable for a room over $200 a night with discount.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. Parking in the hotel portion of the lot is limited but there is plenty of casino parking. Main & Abby, the restaurant, is not very good and the Fuel deli is awful. There is an excellent Italian place Tractoria Fresca 3 blocks down the street. We ate there twice.

The staff was great. Very helpful and nice. Rooms were perfect.

The food in the casino was not great at all. The casino has a lot of older slot machines, which is what we like. They also have a lot of newer slot machines too. The hotel itself is built into a very old building, so the layout is not what you would expect, but kind of cool.
