South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront

Pool and hot tub were shut down for summer which is a shame …. view from room was lovely and the patios outside the room were nice for taking in the river view.

90% of the reason I booked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub so our grandkids could enjoy them while on a short vacation. Neither were in operating order. There sure were nice pics of them on the website though. Very disappointing. The pool didn't look like it had been touched in quite a while.

Everything was perfect

Absolutely loved our stay there! The room was comfortable, the staff were very helpful with any questions we had or any concerns. The property was very kept up and was beautiful. We did have a slight issue with our ac in the room but maintenance was there immediately to resolve the issue! Definitely look forward to coming back!

This property was very nice, but the hotel and staff need to figure out a better way to provide the complementary breakfast for those that purchase it. The room was not conveniently accessible.

The facility was at maximum capacity. The swimming pool and hot tub were not working. Unless an inquiry was made, one would have assumed the reason was to save the corporation expense for repairs. Very sad. Ice machine near our room was not functioning. Housekeeping was 10 out of 10 rating. Kudos to housekeeping.

The receptionist at check-in was kind and great at explaining the amenities of the hotel. The first room I was given, the AC unit was broke, she helped me find a new room with a working AC. The room was clean and maintained, however, one the beds had a fitted sheet on it with a tear/hole in it. Hotel amenities were amazing especially the breakfast from Kahills. One downfall was that not every floor had a working ice machine and the room fridges were small. I also saw that there was a broken pipe of some sort outside near the west door entrance that was spraying water everywhere. Just making notes in case ownership/management reads these so they are aware.

We arrived in a terrible storm. No covered parking for the hail. Not a deal breaker nor expected. Staff had graciously put us in a tornado safe room on the first floor. Staff was immediately taking care of a flooded hallway as we walked to our room. Restaurant was outstanding. Patio was great on the Missouri but the storm severely limited our enjoyment. Would definitely stay again.

Room was clean and check-in was quick and easy. However, the pet fee is $50 but they can charge you more if they feel the room is “dirty”. I was initially charged the $50 but upon further review of my bank account I saw that I had been charged $100. I do not recommend this property for travelers with pets and I will not be staying at this establishment ever again. There are, in my opinion, better options and cheaper pet fees in this area.

Location was good, bed was comfortable. Shower was too small and leaked at wall. The door to bathroom too close to entrance of room and toilet space was crammed up by sink and shower.

Worked for the wedding. The room was clean

Fabulous. Very large complex that runs along the River Walk. Breath taking views as you walk along the water front. There is a wine tasting facility at the end of the property, also excellent. The breakfast was incredible...what a variety and lots of everything to choose from. Staff was always helpful. Room rates are good. The $15 parking charge...just include it in the price like the breakfast.
