Stoney Creek Hotel Sioux City

Stayed here a few times, good price but the pool & water was closed for some of my stay this time

We’ve stayed at Stoney Creek Hotel many times. It’s always enjoyable.

They needed more staff helping with breakfast. The one lady that was there that was overwhelmed. They were too busy to get everything done.

Loved it very clean and nice place

Room looked good until we tried the refrigerator and it was unplugged and the staff wanted to change us rooms and we were going to but then we fixed the fridge by plugging it in and asked if we could stay and they forgot to move us back to out original room and it was a mess the next morning. But it got figured out and then our last day all key cards were down except managements. So if u left ur room u were hunting down management to let u in. Otherwise the food and the pool and the koi pond were pretty amazing.

The Stoney Creek decor reflected South Dakota culture, adding a unique interest to the property. The back courtyard was lovely with a coi pond, flowers, shrubs and trees dotted around outdoor chairs and a cornhole game. The spacious common area held big comfy furniture and plenty of space to relax with coffee or cold beverage from the on-site bar. I highly recommend this hotel!

I have stayed a few times here and the last two have not been good experiences. I had asked for a room that did not have pets as my family and I have allergies to the dander. Our room seemed as though it was not cleaned from the last visitors. Dog hair in the carpet, on the furniture and the bed - so much so when we wore dark colored clothing it looked as if we were the pet owners. Said something to the front desk staff and there was nothing. Just an “okay, thanks for informing us.”

We've traveled through Sioux City several times and always stayed elsewhere on the river. Decided to try a new place. Now we have a new "go to" hotel. It was beautiful, well kept, clean, room was spacious, nearby ice machine. Best of all, staff seemed to go out of their way to be helpful.

Good location in downtown Sioux City, easy to walk to restaurants, casino etc. Breakfast was fine, typical of free breakfast. We didn’t use the pool but it looked good, has indoor and swim thru to outdoor pool. Fitness room was ok. Our issue was cleanliness. Our bathroom floor was dirty and sticky, rest of room not dirty but not fresh either.

This place was AMAZING!!! It was very clean and decorated very well. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was unbelievebly clean and beautiful. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about the property. I would definately stay here again and again and again!!!!!

They only reason I booked this hotel is for the pool which they closed for chemical imbalance and the pool guy is on vacation. Will never stay there again.

Very nice overnight stay.

Hotel was great, very accommodating. The food was delicious. We had the Pizza and the combo with chicken, mozzarella sticks and curly fries. Curly fries could have been cooked longer, but other than that it was great period the pool was a good time loved that there's an hour for adults only even though kids are not a problem, it was just there was few people in the pool in hot tub at that time period. Everything was super clean all around. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Very nice hotel and very clean. We loved our king room; also used the bar and enjoyed our time there. Ordered wings and pizza, very good! Breakfast in the morning was very good and good coffee.

Bed was pretty hard and so were the pillows. Had to wait 15 min to check in, only one person and was on the phone with a reservation issue. Ordered food from the bar, it was excellent
