Ramada by Wyndham Sioux Falls Airport-Waterpark & Event Ctr

Initial check in was very informative and polite. Pool area was fun but slightly dirty. Carpet throughout facility is filthy. Key cards for room kept becoming inactive. Arcade area is dated and when purchasing items from prize locker we did not receive them. Called to report the issue and it was never resolved. Very unfortunate for my kids to not get the items they wanted from the tickets they earned.

My kids loved the water park. Some of the things were close or didn’t work. The restaurant closed early. The room was big and nice.

We wanted to go somewhere close to the airport. While the pool was fun, the rooms were awful. Smelled like mildew.

Would checkin if all other hotels are unavailable.

Very underwhelming lobby especially with the decorative fountain being fully drained making it a an ugly eyesore. The lobby coffee costs $ (odd). The check in process was a bit disappointing considering it was 4pm (when check in starts) and they only had 1 person at the desk. Took probably 20 minutes before we were helped because of an line and the customer service was below average. Despite the phone going unanswered for a couple minutes our request for extra blankets and help getting our microwave working was quickly addressed. We enjoyed using the indoor waterpark, especially the big slide and large hot tub. The area could use a refresh but nothing major. The hotel did not appear to be full as evidenced by a mostly empty parking lot but they still managed to place us in a room directly above another room that was actively being maintenanced our entire stay. The loud pounding and drilling sounds often filled our room above and woke us up earlier than planned and prevented us from resting peacefully in the afternoon. I asked them to pause the work; the staff almost in a laughing attitude said “well I can’t just ask them to stop” and gave no solutions so I kindly reminded them that we were sleeping and that this is a hotel. The response was a sarcastic “I’ll see what we can do”. We found out the hard way that the toilet flush handle in our room had to be held down until the bowl was empty. That was a first for a hotel. I recommend a pool day pass but not staying the hotel.

the staff was very snotty. I called down to the office to ask a question and was hung up on twice. Got a lot of attitude from the manager for absolutely no reason.

Not much The black mold and stained toilet in our room. The unsafe conditions at the pool and staff who were not friendly or helpful.

The room needed some serious TLC .. there was paint chipping and screw holes in the walls they never covered up. The bathroom was disgusting. All the caulk around the shower was black. The room was so dark. We had every light on and still couldn’t see. The layout of the room was nice and spacious, it has potential if they’d put a little work into cleaning it up.

The staff was friendly. It was a place to stop for the night. The room was musty smelling, especially the bathroom area. Bedding was stained. The hot tub was DISGUSTING! I can't believe so many people were using it. I guess, considering that, I wouldn't have wanted to eat from a continental breakfast there if it were provided. No breakfast. There was a restaurant on site where breakfast could be purchased separately.

Clean room fun pool and nice staff

The pool was great. Kids enjoyed swimming for hours. It was very busy and they ran out of pool towels by 9 PM. They did bring more in around 11 when the pool was closing. Several of the stalls in the womans bathrooms near the pool did not have toilet paper. The little store near the front desk only had drinks. We were told the vending machines had snacks like popcorn, however the vending machines we pretty much empty. Beds were comfortable, but rooms were definitely aged.

We were traveling from Northern Michigan to Wyoming with 3 younger kids and needed a place for them to unwind. They had a blast on the waterslide and it did its job helping them get some wiggles out. The rest of the hotel felt forgotten about. The rooms were subpar. There were many times we couldn’t find staff when we walked through the hotel or to the lobby. We did eat at the Pub attached to the restaurant and although it had some good things to offer… the ambiance and the mozzarella sticks… the rest our meal felt questionable when stacked against the large bill that came with it. Definitely not worth what we paid for.

Water park and sraff Only problem is they don't offer free breakfast but instead charge outrageous for it to the point that no one was eating breakfast.

Definitely geared towards young kids. Rooms badly need updating

They didn't seem to meet Ramada standards, last stay at a Ramada for us. No wifi, run down decor, walking hazards on the exterior. Restaurant was understaffed, poor selection
