Our stay at Allegheny Springs was great. We were on the first floor so we had walkout access to the pool area. A short walk to several restaurants and shops. Fantastic mountain view.

No bar or breakfast during summer. Kitchen was wonderful to have.

First time staying here, and the last. Allegheny Springs had decent rooms, but only two Handicapped parking spots for the whole hotel, no valet parking at this time, and no assistance with luggage. Regular parking lot for guests is unpaved grave a couple of hundred yards from the hotel entrance, a steep walk downhill and up. Wife's in a chair, which made it difficult for me to drop her in front and park, then walked uphill back. Little accessibility features, bathroom had no grab bars, thresholds to the outside weren't well ramped for chair access. First night there was a fire on an upper floor, and we had to evacuate the building at 3am, and stand outside in the drizzle until the fire department got it handled; another guest said this is the second fire alarm in the 4 days they were there. No bar or restaurant inside the resort, and no easy access to restaurants and shops in Snowshoe Village. Taxes and resort fees were almost as much as the rooms. Won't be back here, or recommend it to anyone else.

We found the price to be very reasonable (in July) for all the amenities that were included. The pool area was really nice. Staying here also meant the fun pass was included, which gave us access to the Splitrock Pools (which was so awesome), a rock climbing wall, and lots of other fun activities for kids and adults. I know each room is different, but ours was good. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Great experience. Loved having a kitchen and table to eat. Great train ride experience and wonderful customer service. Love the store at bottom of mountain as well.
-
Love the pretty much ski and ski out. Hot tubs were busy but always had availability for sitting pool was nice and warm. They closed promptly at 10pm but staff was reasonable at closure.

The staff is very accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Thank you

Location was great. Wish the water in the shower was warmer. Everyone else’s in the same building had hot water, we had luke warm at best. Would also have been nice to have better kitchen supplies (knifes that cut, bowls etc).
-
The parking was very odd and far away from the hotel.
-
All of it was clean and easy to move around the resort I’m not a mountain person, curvy roads getting there.

The place. Was nice and the area was nice. My biggest issue was the main bed. It was so uncomfortable. My back hurt every morning

Mountain bikes constantly slinging mud n riding through the small center common area.. should have to walk the bikes..not ride them through ..not safe n mud ..bed was like concrete ..room view had a stupid waffle stand ..I asked for a view of the mountains.. parking for Allegheny was terrible.. raining n u have to walk to main parking .. not a good set up

The only issue they experienced was with Streaming TV. It would not stay on (it kept turning off) and it would not enable streaming. They researched ways to fix the issues but were unsuccessful. They shared this experience with the property manager.

The setting is most charming with incredible mountain scenery. The complex is compact allowing a short walk to any of the amenities. The staff at the restaurants are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back and will recommend to family and friends.

Not friendly, never asked if everything ok, poor cleaning, rooms in bad condition, only one ice machine for entire building, and also out of service. No bike parking. The personal running that Resort does not know what is doing.

Spotty cell service. 10:00 AM checkout.

My room number was 105, 1st floor in Alleghany Springs. The dishwasher needed to be reattached to the wall, the 2 screws were clearly sitting on the counter above, but this was not repaired before our stay. Each time opened, the DW jarred forward, ugh! The room was clean, & adequate for the 4 of us, realizing that sofa beds are never the most comfortable.

Most of the fitness equipment didn’t work.

We requested 2 extra blankets and 2 extra pillows but despite talking to the front desk and the cleaning crew, we never received them. I asked for extra towels but they said they would charge extra for those. It’s very convenient for skiing so we like the location but the front desk staff are less than helpful and don’t act like they want to be there.

Excellent in all aspects, plenty of heat with the temperatures outside dropping to -1°F Fahrenheit on the morning of departure. The room had a beautiful fireplace.
