Alpine Inn and Cedar Inn are excellent! Very helpful and nice people in the office. Rooms are clean and have great air conditioning, TV, and walk-in shower! Big clean towels, also. The only thing is it would be great if they added a couple small lamps inside the room. It’s a bit too dark and dim. That’s the only thing. It’s within 5-10 minutes walking distance from everything! Never any loud noise outside, either. Great place to stay!

This Inn reminds me of the old-style "6" chain. It was affordable and provided a clean, comfortable room, but the furniture was older & mismatched. There was free coffee, a microwave. and a small fridge in the room. Good climate control kept the room comfortable, and the windows opened allowing in fresh air. A recent remodel of the bathroom left the towel bar & shower handle without their screws, causing the towel bar to fall off the wall and the shower handle to fall off as well. The shallow hot tub was warm and relaxing, as was the pool area. Located on the California side of Stateline, but a great location to walk to Caesar's & Harrah's casinos a block away, as well as many restaurants and shops. Plenty of free parking in lots surrounding the property. Also included were two passes for admission-free access after-5 p.m. to "Lakeside Beach" at Lake Tahoe.

They need to clean better in the night stand we found used tissue paper , the coffee maker was old and dirty , the hair dryer didnt work , there was a piece of wood to cover an area from the ac that was coming off it was fall hazards.

Terrible! No towels in the room, No pillow cases on the pillows, Drain was clogged in the bathroom sink and the shower leaks standing water into bedroom with a very noticeable soft floor. The coffee machine is set up for coffee pods. There was one and the rest were loose coffee in the pack. No staff to be found in the morning..Needless to say, it made my wife very unhappy. Great, Thanks a lot! How about a refund?

It was very dirty, and the manager was rude—he even shut the door in another person's face because they told him the hotel was dirty 😡

Nice property for the price, good location next to casinos. With pool and hot tub. Black out shades were not the best. The dresser tops and floors were dirty. Accommodating staff I would stay again.

El baño estaba muy sucio y el cuarto olía muy mal, el televisor no servia

This facility has to be the most run down and worst facility I have ever stayed. The rooms are absolute trash, the staff is extremely rude, the shower is extremely filthy, there is only 1 guy that works there during the day and they are closed at nights so if you need any towels, blankets etc. you are out of luck. They charge $60 extra per additional vehicle. The worst part is they charge upscale hotel prices and in return you get to stay at a facility that looks, feels and smells like a trash can!!!!

The property was clean, it was ok for a nights stay. The AC could not keep up and it was a hot night. We were missing a sheet on the bed and did not have enough towels for 4 people. The best part of the stay is the proximity to town and the free admission to the swimming lake.

LET ME START BY SAYING THAT THE ROOMS WERE NOT CLEANED WELL, IN ONE OF THE ROOMS WE FOUND DIRTY SHEETS, ALSO THE SHOWER HOSE FOR ONE OF THE ROOMS WASN'T WORKING PROPERLY, BATH TUBS AND SHOWERS WERE VERY SLIPPERY AND NO SHOWER MATS WERE PROVIDED TO ANY OF THE 3 BATHROOMS WE RESERVED. WITH THAT SAID WE HAD 2 FALL INCIDENTS. THE FIRST ONE ON FRIDAY MORNING 07/24/2026 IT WAS MY FATHER OF 71 YEARS OLD SLIPPED AND FELL ON HIS BEHIND WHEN TAKING A SHOWER. THE SECOND ONE AND WORST FALL WAS MY SISTER IN LAW ON SATURDAY NIGHT 07/25/2026 SHE ALSO SLIPPED AND FELL WHEN TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE SHOWER CAUSING HER TO FALL ON HER RIGHT SIDE AND FRACTURING A RIB. WAS TAKEN TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM THAT NIGHT. ALSO WHEN INITIALLY GETTING THERE WE WERE TOLD BY THE OWNER THAT SINCE WE WERE GOING TO STAY SEVERAL DAYS TO RE USE THE TOWELS THAT WE WERE GIVEN WE DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL. WE WERE STAYING 5 NIGHTS AND THAT WASN'T RIGHT WHAT WE WERE TOLD BY HIM.ALL THIS ISSUES WE HAD WITH THE ROOMS WERE TOLD TO STAFF AND OWNER AND NOT MUCH WAS DONE. OVERALL OUR EXPERIENCE THIS TIME WASN'T THE GREATEST IN OTHER WORDS IT WAS VERY BAD WONT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN.

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Great atmosphere, and everything made for a relaxing experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    Really Dirty place

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Our room was not clean. Sheets were dirty, coffee grounds everywhere, walls were so dirty & all table surfaces were sticky. It was absolutely disgusting, couldn’t wait to get out of there.

I am writing regarding my current stay at your hotel under reservation number [Insert Reservation Number]. I specifically booked a room at your property because it advertised having air conditioning. When filtering my hotel choices, AC and a hot tub are my strict, non-negotiable requirements. I rely entirely on accurate listing information to ensure a comfortable stay, as I am unable to sleep when a room is hot. While I want to acknowledge and thank the front desk clerk for his hospitality in allowing us to use the hot tub after its official 10:00 PM closing time, the accommodation for one amenity does not make up for the complete failure of the other. Upon entering our room, I discovered that the wall AC unit is completely broken. Your staff was fully aware of this issue before we even arrived; when I brought it up, the clerk informed me that they already knew it wasn't working and pointed out a box fan that had been pre-placed in the room to "help." I have attached photos showing the LG wall unit set to 60°F (which is blowing completely warm air) alongside a photo of the box fan your team provided. Placing a fan in a room with broken climate control does not constitute "Air Conditioning." Knowingly checking a guest into a room with broken vital amenities—while actively advertising that those amenities are functional—is entirely unacceptable. To resolve this matter immediately, I require one of the following two options today: 1. An Immediate Room Move:

He told me the room we booked wasn’t available Ana moved us to the sister hotel. We moved our luggage across the street to the other hotel. The room did not have overhead lights. There was a hole in the wall and the towels that errr hanging were dirty and dingy. The room also had a very strong odor similar to body odor. We did not stay the night, as were uncertain if the cleanliness of the linens after seeing the towels. We were also unable to use the towels. When I went to speak to the staff, the door was locked. DO NOT book the Cedar Inn or Alpine hotel. The properties need to be remodelled and don’t look anything like the photos. Our friends stayed at the Alpine and it was also not maintained. As I mentioned before, we left after the concert as we could not use the towels.

The bed was OK, but the pills were very hard. I only gave two towels, no washcloths no hand towels and only shampoo. Very small amount of soap the stairs look like they need to be redone going up to the second level.

No trashcan anywhere in the room or the bathroom and the water in the shower only got to warm
