Great amenities. Perfect location. We enjoyed the perk of discounted access to Lakeside Beach. Will stay again!

Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Location of Basecamp made it easy to walk to just about everything downtown. The staff was helpful. The bar had good food and a live band and fostered a get-to-know your neighbor vibe. Otherall a great experience!

Staff were very kind of helpful. The property is very convenient to walk to most restaurants. We had a great day and the headlight Jacuzzi was a nice touch. They also have a nice breakfast spot with really amazing coffee. Will stay again

Bed was worn to the point of sagging when laying on it.

Perfect base for hiking. Great bar area for our family group to gather.

Love the place and have stayed many times. Great concept and venue. Down side they are letting it slip a bit. One of the porch swings is dangerous and about to break. Someone will get hurt. The stairs are dangerous with mats overhang as trip hazards. I have no idea why nothing is done before someone gets hurt. My room was not cleaned as requested on my last night. Got back too late to remedy. Little things like decent basic ping pong paddles are no longer in the budget? I truly hope they turns things around.

The beds and bathroom seemed cleaned. Only complaints would be the stand up fan in our room had a thick coat of dust so we couldn’t use it and the shampoo and body wash bottles were both empty.

We stayed at Basecamp at Tahoe for a night during our drive from Yosemite to Northern California. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were a few issues with our stay though. The first was the parking. There were very few spots available when we arrived and the few that were available, we're so small I had trouble opening my door to get out. The second issue was the shower had no shelves to place a razor or bar of soap. You just ended up putting it on the floor. Not a big deal but, but hopefully a helpful criticism. Also the jets on the rooftop got tub didn't really work when you started the timer. Lastly my biggest issue was the Expedia posting where we found the room mentioned the hotel offered "Complimentary Breakfast". When I asked the desk attendant about it she said that it referred to free "coffee and water". Nevermind the fact that both of these are available in the room, how is this considered breakfast. Please remove this from your listing as it's very misleading and was a major reason we choose this hotel to begin with. The last issue was that we ordered breakfast from the on-site cafe online for pickup. When we received a notice that our order was ready, I went to pick it up but the drinks weren't ready. Again, not the biggest of issues but if you're going to alert us, why not wait until the whole order is actually finished? Otherwise the motel was great with lots of common areas and a fun bar in the courtyard. Convenient location as well.

Amazing place to stay

Front desk staff were nice. Rooms were not stocked. There were only 3 towels, and no soap!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Having parking onsite was very helpful! My fiance and I really enjoyed how accessible it was to the shops and restaurants on stateline, so we hardly needed to drive ! Absolutely loved the beer garden on site and being able to go to the coffee stand each morning in the lobby. It was the perfect place for families or young couples ! Great vibes all around. We are already talking about booking our next stay here again later this summer!

This is an excellent location which can make up for the rest of that’s what you’re looking for. The beer garden in the courtyard with live music every night was an extra bonus. The air conditioning was a portable unit with an exhaust hose going out the window and the hose easily detached. The ceiling fan was very noisy. The property had sewage smell issues. I would not use the hot tub due to health concerns. Staff were very helpful.

Great time will book again

The room was not very clean - dark hairs on the pillow when I went to get into bed. Musty smell - locations great but not a very cozy vibe

Carpets need replacing, pretty musty.
