Desolation Hotel

酒店位于汽车旅馆包围之中，外面没有什么风景和私密，我们房间一楼，阳台对着旁边汽车旅馆的停车场，阳台的泡澡浴缸基本无法用（有设计遮挡）。酒店设计新颖独特，不错。

Absolutely luxury and beautiful!

Little pricey for what you get

Awesome room and very well updated

The location itself was beautiful and the style and decor of the hotel overall was gorgeous. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The showers, products, and overall room set up was very nice. Despite a physically nice hotel, we had a horrible stay. They tried to charge a fee for early check in on a room that costs nearly $1k when it was already ready which is takcy and feels cheap. The AC wasn't working and we weren't informed. We were put in a terrible location where the balcony, which could have been private and romantic, faced the street. The pool was unstaffed and didn't have a bar despite that being what was advertised. It was also not set up or cleaned nearly 2 hours into their opening hours. There were not basic hotel amenities one would expect at a luxury experience in terms of staff, service, or even basics like water stations. When we brought out some of these issues, the staff was rude to us and acted like it wasn't their problem and kept giving excuses instead of actually addressing the problems. They are selling a luxury experience and have the design but not remotely the experience or staff to support it.

This hotel is super comfy. I was so relaxed. The hotel is lux. Our townhouse was well equipped. Our dogs were made welcome as promised. On all parts of the property. One note, the private beach access this proxy has is not dog friendly. But there is plenty to do with the puppers

Incredible stay! Beautifully designed rooms. W head the townhouse which was perfect!! Loved the balcony tub. But be careful I bruised my arm pretty badly on it without realizing because it was truly that comfortable. Upright jetted tub in the bathroom was a super nice touch too! Nice kitchen, great staff, easy parking. Wish I could find something this convenient and cool in other places I travel to. Will definitely stop by on another road trip up the west coast!

Amazing property and located near everything.

Beautiful pet friendly hotel. Friendly and courteous staff. We stayed in the townhome option and it was very comfortable. Complete with a beautiful kitchenette, two private balconies, personal EV charging inside personal garage unit, two fireplaces, outdoor heating, heated bathroom floor, there is too much to mention. Plus it's in a great location, walking distance to Harrahs and Cesars Maggie's restaurant on property was convenient and a very good for a nice meal. Definitely recommend Desolation Hotel!! we loved it.

Clean room, modern, pet friendly, wonderful hot tub and pool

Not worth the price

We loved staying here, even for just one night. The room was beautiful, clean and gad dome very cool amenities. The front desk staff were all very helpful and nice, too. Location is good, but no view of the lake. We will definitely stay here again!

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Very thing about the room was amazing, the fireplaces made for a nice atmosphere and we loved the heated floors in the bathroom
