Loved that the hotel gave free access to the beach! The breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable. Would stay again!

Old motel that has tried to be made boutique, but shows its age and upgrades are cheap. Paint peeling on walls. Lots of debri from trees in pool and hot tub. Not many bikes available. Enjoyed the morning coffee and large television. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Overpriced for an old motel.

Great walkable location, close to the beach, downtown SL Tahoe and Stateline. The vibe was relaxed with nice touches like the large fire pits, cocktail bar, and self service kitchen (microwave, toasters, etc). They offer bikes free to guests, but there was only one adult size bike available and we had gotten there first thing in the morning.

Room is very clean, adequate for dog and when snowing it is adequate for snow gear. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Clean room and very close to everything you need in Tahoe! Free lake access (front desk will give you tickets) and walking distance from town

Great mattress, shower and recently remodeled. To improve: better dust cleaning

Great location within walking distance of many activities and attractions. Coffee bar had a lovely cortado! The balcony view was a bit deceiving as it was merely a street view.

Location and vibe were spot on. Cute bar inside and fire pits in the courtyard. Love the room decor. Room needed touch up paint and directions on how to use the tv. Remote worked but tv wouldn’t respond. Complimentary coffee the next morning was empty.

We stayed a few days at the Coachman towards the end of July. It was a very cute and clean hotel. We enjoyed smores one evening and loved that we could walk to the village in one direction and the lake in the opposite direction. We will definitely stay again!

There are no coffee pots in the rooms and the reception area doesn’t open until 7am so we had to run to Starbucks every morning at 530. The beach access is nice but again, we weren’t sure where to get the tickets, then where to go to gain access. So much confusion could be eliminated with an info packet in each room. The area is nice and 3 blocks from beach and shops.

My husband and I stayed at the Coachman for two nights and had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and modern with a homey cabin feel. The bed was comfy though very squishy, so if you like a firm mattress, be aware (maybe you can request a room with a firm bed). The pool is small but nice. The hotel provides vouchers for the nearby private beach ($), loaner bikes, smore makings, and lots of other amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The place just has a really chill relaxing vibe and we really liked it. It's also within walking distance of some good restaurants and a short drive to others. Would highly recommend a stay at the Coachman!
