Budget INN At The Heavenly Gondola

Not really much to say other than this should be a last resort stay. Stain on the sheets, no soap or any body wash / shampoo. Our room looked like it had been cleaned with minimal effort which is kinda crazy since there were 2 cars in the parking lot…. Respectfully I would avoid this place.

Check in took forever, rooms were dirty. When I called the front desk to replace linens, so ensured they would and just rearranged pillows. Multiple strands of different hair in bed and shower. Towels were in rough shape. Stains on sheets. Not a comfortable night of sleep to say the least.

Very good property! It was clean and close to everything. The shops and the beach were only about a 5-minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

I always enjoy my stay at the Budget Inn, owner/front desk personnel very accommodating and helpful. Very much enjoy the peace and quiet of this establishment, away from So Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Really nice people at front desk. They were very friendly and welcoming and had good advice about where to get breakfast and what to see in the vicinity. Great place for the price.

I stayed here while in a hiking trip for Van Sickle Park. The location was a shirt wlk away fron the park entrance making it ideal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. There is a Mexican restaurant just around the corner but plenty of food options are within walking distance. I ended up extending my stay by an extra day (decided midway through the first day) and the staff made it easy, although this was off season so they had availability. I had an issue with the microwave malfunctioning and beeping during my stay but I was told to just unplug it and that solved the issue. Again the staff was very helpful and easy to work with. The room was quiet, with the exception of some noisy neighbors during their unloading. I will definitely book here again in the future and highly recommend it for the reasonably priced rooms as well as everything else I’ve listed.

I didn't like being woke by an employee in my room before check out, and having that male employee touch me to wake me and I had not lapsed checkout time.

Location is right behind main street which is perfect to stay close, cleanliness was okay.
