The restaurant staff refused to serve me she never came back to me after she said she would come back

Employees were very helpful however the food menu was kind of stale and blend. found the menu prices a little high.

I think for the price it’s low quality

I felt overcharged and the experience was not worth it I will never stay at this place again.

The breakfast was good and hot. The staff was kind.

Cannot beat the location. Would definitely stay again.

The only “bad thing” I can say was the lagoon pool (is it even a pool?) was hotter than a hot tub. The pool was lukewarm. Maybe that’s just south Texas, but you would assume a large property like that could afford a pool chiller of some sort. Other than that, the hotel and staff were amazing! So close to the beach. Restaurant on property with food stands and bars for the parents. Would definitely come back and maybe just skip the pool next time and head straight for the beach.

Very clean, the staff is very friendly and the access to the beach is excellent

The three pools are nice, but all are small and shallow (deepest was 3’9”). We were a party of 4 and only three towels in room. We did request a couple of towels and received those, but when they cleaned the room they only replaced/gave us three towels again. Also, the blow dryer wouldn’t get warm and needed to be replaced. The dining area was nice and clean. Lunch was good.

The hotel price plus the resort fee is not worth it , it’s run down needs major maintenance ac was down on several rooms including the lobby. The hiy who check us in was not very helpful or knowledgeable and very little contact with the guest . The check out lady was great , she extended us an hour more due to an emergency with a family member which luckily it got resolved before 11 , thank you morning staff. Housekeeping were amazing , very nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately the bed had some critters woke up to a lot of bites all over the body , we did find a small bug. Not interested in coming back for sure.It should have a money return policy.They don’t mention all the walking you have to do from 1 tower to the other it’s ridiculous to walk they 2 swimming pools with all the luggage in the scolding sun. Ridiculous for a so called resort !!!! All ice makers were broken!!!

Great stay. Helpful and attentive staff. Get the breakfast voucher!! Will stay here again.

Pool was real low. Maybe about a foot and a half. Where 3 foot was supposed to be. Cockaroach in the 2 rooms. Several outlets in the room not working. Hot inside the hotel. Except for the rooms

Place is clean staff is a hit and miss with the help they are willing to provide but over all it was a relaxing experience

The bathroom was tiny and door was damaged that kept catching. The restaurant was super expensive for average food. The breakfast buffet food selection was a fraction of a normal hotels included (free) breakfast. The location is great. But should not be considered a resort

When we checked in and asked for a luggage cart there were none available. We get to our assigned room and it was still dirty. It wasn’t even ready. We had to wait in the hallway for the attendant to grab us new cards to a new room. Then we got in a room that was very sub par. The lighting fixtures had rust and stains, the curtains had rust stains on them, the walls were dirty as if someone threw up and it wasn’t completely cleaned. The towels were stained here and there. The beds were the only good thing. Very comfy and clean ( thank goodness)! But the heated pool had loose and broken tiles all over it. The pool floor had so many patches that were torn up from use. I feel like they have NEVER done any upgrades since opening. The umbrellas and chairs were so old, rusted, and run down that I didn’t even want to sit on them. The next property over had nice wooden and green linen beach furniture that was free. On top of everything they seemed very short staffed. I only stayed in the property because I had already paid full price and wanted to avoid the headache and cost of trying to get another hotel on the beach. Overall, access to the beach and the heated pool were the highlights of our visit, plus free cabanas. We were able to enjoy the waves but would have loved free and nicer umbrellas and lounge chairs. I don’t know how it’s rated as highly as it is. It was NOT worth the money I paid and wish I could have been in a newer hotel.

Great location, fun pool for kids, super mellow during the week
