Nighttime employee said one thing and the next day at checkout the rules changed all of a sudden.

Nice clean room, hotel looked outdated but the pool was beautiful and amazing!
-
AC was very loud at night.

The owners are taking as much money out of the property as they can and not investing to make it even a bit of what it could be. There is a vast field of suffering and ant colonies between the parking lot and hotel. Missed the tiny sign stapled to a tree to know where to check in and didn’t realize you could drive up to the hotel on the same path as walking guests? Too bad! The parking lot is a series of narrow dead ends, so if you need to turn around to get on that “driveway” you will have to do at minimum two three point turns and hope for the best, or drive off property to turn around. The bellhop kiosk was new plywood maybe 5 years ago before it took on a kids’ forgotten lemonade stand persona. The PVC and plywood luggage carts were a great school shop project where the kids were left to themselves by an inattentive teacher. The single elevator would have been fine if it had been air conditioned, wasn’t hot and humid, had a clean mat, and didn’t smell like the ass of a hundred dumpster divers. The landscapers must have been on strike for the last two years. The management does not know how plants or trees work. The dumpster, which is the central attraction of the parking lot, is only visited by cleaners or maintenance when paid combat pay by the managers, which must be never. The animals, however, love it. Beach access is convenient and kids enjoy the pool. Path’s showers don’t work.

There roches in the bathroom and shower. The room is not worh the 480 dls that we paid for it. It was very small and no wifi. It looks like a 100dl motel 6 8 room. Won't come back ever

Where to start? Me and my family usually go to island for 2-3 days we have been around to lots of hotels. We usually would stay at La Copa Inn but this time Peninsula had a better price so we decided to give it a try. We got the double deluxe with partial sea view. All I can say is our stay here was the best experience by far. The pool is actually warm and peaceful compared to La Copa (kids pool) is cold & always very packed! La Copa does have perks like free breakfast and a Starbucks in building but even then I would choose the PENINSULA AGAIN. Since I arrived staff was super friendly and was greeted very kindly by their staff & even maintenance. We did get a chance to try the restaurant and got the ribeye steak let's just say for $30 it was perfectly priced. I honestly can't wait to return here compared to La Copa I sometimes want to just go back home but the vibes at Peninsula were just different. Ain't trying to talk down on any hotels just an honest review. My 5yo son noticed La copa next door and said he liked our hotel better and would like to come back to Peninsula for the pool. Thank you guys for a great experience & I can't wait to be back at the end of year ♥️

They supplied towels and wash clothes but only 3 of each, the room holds up to 5, we had 3 on our trip. Free shampoo and soap and conditioner was nothing special, no name brand. The pool area made it! The restaurant on property doesn't look like much but the food was plated well and so good! The staff was amazing. Tips: they have golf cart shuttle from the parking lot to the building, just catch it or give the office a call. The restaurant will also let you order drinks and bring to pool side or beach side.

This hotel is perfect for families. The location is great and pretty much every room you have ocean or bay view. This is our "go to hotel" because we have kids so the convenient location that it's on the beach and large pool so adults and kids have space to swim. My only two complaints are the towels are not good and wish there were more umbrellas by the pool other than it is a good hotel.

Great basic services done right nothing fancy needed. Pool was nice
-
excelente servicio en todas las areas
-
It was everything that was expected
-
The rooms appeared outdated and were not very clean—there were loose hairs visible throughout, from the bedding to the bathroom floor.”

Wonderful stay rooms was super clean

This hotel is so outdated. Sheets were not clean, no hot water, ice machine was out of service. Had to walk a long walk from the parking lot to the front entrance. Then to be charged a $100 incidental fee. Not impressed at all.
-
There was an extra resort fee per night which was disappointing.
-
It was a nice room, but it does need to be updated. The pool and the view of the beach from the pool are phenomenal. The door to our room did not close properly without having to push in an secure the lock. The ice machine wasn't working, the parking is a good walking distance from the hotel, plus they charge extra for beach umbrellas and chairs. For the price I expected that to be included. The staff was very kind and helpful that was a major plus! We enjoyed our stay with minor inconveniences.
