Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites South San Francisco

I had a 6night stay starting Sept. 24 in the grand suite. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The bedroom has no functioning vents or separate climate control, while the thermostat and unit are in the living room. Once the living room reaches the set temperature, the unit shuts off while the bedroom remains hot/cold. Our first night was so uncomfortable that I had to leave the balcony door open to cool the bedroom. The bigger issue was housekeeping. On our 1rst full day, no one knocked or offered service. Before leaving around noon, I specifically asked the front desk for fresh towels and trash removal and was told it would be handled. It wasn’t. When we returned that night, our key cards also didn’t work, requiring another trip downstairs. The room had not been cleaned, beds weren’t made, no towels or toilet paper were provided, and the trash wasn’t emptied. The next day, the same thing happened with the key cards. I again requested housekeeping, towels and trash removal and was told they don’t service rooms every day. However, I had received NO service on any day. Eventually, trash liners were simply left on the table for me to change myself. Throughout the entire 6night stay, my trash was never emptied, used towels were never collected, beds were never made, and the carpet was never vacuumed. I repeatedly had to request towels and reprogram my key cards. I was too patient but never again. No one really cares at this property it seems like.

Would def stay again.

This stuff was genuinely the nastiest set of human beings I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. I am not sure why this property has such a high rating, as it does not deserve it is strictly based on the people that they have hired to run this property.

Need to have complimentary water forest in lobby area

Close to the airport with free parking. Convenient 1-night stay.

The room was okay, but the light in the kitchen wasn’t working when i checked in and the fire alarm tripped all of the sudden.

Easy access to frwy.

I found the staff to be very sweet & kind, and the suite to be spacious - but the whole property was not very clean. Bags of trash left out overnight near the elevator banks & when we were trying to exit our room to leave, the hallways were littered & blocked with cleaning carts & dirty laundry. It feels like the hotel is not well run. But, an extremely reasonable rate. I guess you get what you pay for.

It was a 5 star hotel and good.

I wouldn't stay here again. It just so happened to be one of the hottest days in SF and there was only one air conditioner that was in the main living room area. None in the bedroom. It never cooled down because there was no way to get air in there. The dish washer was full of dirty dishes and had to run it to use plates and utensils. The beds were way too soft, I kept sinking in the middle. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Great place! Helpful staff and tons of amenities! The location is perfect for families as well.

Room was not supplied with listed or expected amenities. Lobby coffee was not hot and fresh in the morning. Hot breakfast items were cold.
