The Comfort Suites At WestGate Mall recently underwent a complete hotel renovation in 2022, including all rooms and public areas. The hotel is five miles from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Our bathroom was very dirty and the fridge wasn't working. I cleaned the bathroom and they fixed the fridge the next day.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room air conditioner unit was leaking and caused the floor to be wet. The bathroom had no ventilation and the door and drywall were damp and wet.

Mia was so friendly and kind when I checked in! Perfect place to stop and rest for a night during a road trip. Clean, perfect room, great breakfast… I would definitely stay here again!

The sofa sleeper had what looked liked pee stain so we couldn't utilize it. Room bathrrom and floor could used better cleaning. Dont know if the sheets and blankets were even chnaged aince we found a kids toy in the bed and a lreayd written postcard that was left behind. The breakfast was ok. Eggs were bland. Fruit bowl was dirty and when food was empty, it took awhile to fill up again.

Room wasn’t ready at check in. Housekeeping was definitely the issue with this. The front desk was very apologetic but it seemed there was no rush for housekeeping to get the rooms ready. There were no vacancies the night we stayed so I understand the business. The front desk eluded to this in our conversation. The hallways were rather warm but the room was cool. It was a good stay close to all the restaurants. It did the job. The breakfast was also filling, with nice options.

Stay was average. There was a roach in the unit, which left a bad experience.

The sink was not good. Drainage was slow kept locking outside of our room. We didn’t have proper keys. The Wi-Fi kept going in and out. The state was terrible.
