Tru by Hilton Spartanburg

Breakfast was okay but this is obviously a great location and hotel for the students and athletes who were in the area for running events at the University! The decor!!! Sorry it just was not to my liking as the furniture also reminded me of a kids room! But the beds were very comfortable! Getting breakfast was jammed full of students all wanting food, and it was very busy and having one somewhat frazzled front desk gentleman when we checked in who was apologizing because he had no help at a very busy time, did not reflect well on the hotel.

Dirty bathroom and dirty sheets, this room wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival and no other rooms were available so we just made the best of a bad situation

The staff was wonderful! The room. I have stayed here before and it was great, this room was run down and not comfortable. The bedding was worn, there was no hand soap, not garbage bag liners and no new iphone compatible chargers.

Not many options for breakfast but it's sufficient enough to start your day.

The sheets were ratty- needed to be thrown out.. the staff at the the check in time was not aware that I can’t hear and left me standing as she walked back to the table in the lobby area .. in a few minutes I got apologies and a friendly service but that was really not called for . The price for the room was not what I would pay for .

Highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Spartanburg. The staff were super helpful and friendly with all my questions. The hotel itself was clean the rooms were extra clean and well maintained, shoutout to the amazing housekeepers and all the other staff!!! I enjoyed my stay there and will be coming back to this hotel.

Pool table. Rooms with wood floors feel cleaner. The quietness of the rooms, I could not hear noise in the hallway. Shower door would not close and not too many towels.

Nice peaceful and restful night but what made the stay was how nice and helpful the front desk personnel were.

Had a clean room and staff was always courteous and helpful. Central to many places. Breakfast was good but not much of a variety.

This TRU was right off the highway and had restaurants and gas stations less than 1/2 mile from hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows I wanted to take home with me?. I have said on many reviews that they should have a wheelchair available for tired handicapped travelers ( I have in the past needed to go to the room and get the desk chair to transport my husband) this time he had a walker to use. I don’t understand why an accessible room has a tub and not a walk in shower. Yes there were grab bars but the tub was too tall of sides to get in.

We love Tru by Hilton. It’s perfect for families. This Tru was conveniently located to the mall and shops as well as restaurants. We appreciate having games readily available as it rained during our stay in Spartanburg. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were well-maintained.

Stayed 1 night. Glad we stayed in 4th floor, nice and quiet. 1st floor is louder because of pool table. Near lots of restaurants and shopping and right off the highway.
