Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spokane

This place is a dump. It's the type of hotel you rent by the hour, not the day. Damp smelling throughout, filthy, room wasn't clean when we checked in. Stains all over the place. And that's the good parts. Paper thin walls and you can hear everything going on in every other room. People were out in the parking lot, playing music, and drinking until 4:00 am. Hotel staff did nothing. People walking in and out and slamming doors all hours. Brutal. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Can't believe this is rated this high. They must be using bots.

My main complaint had to do with the bathroom in my room. I discovered the toilet wouldn’t flush after urinating in it; and the sink wouldn’t drain without holding the drain stopper up. Parking was easy, staff was helpful, and breakfast was better than most.

The room was clean and what I expected for the price and brand of the hotel. The desk clerks were nice and made checking in and out very easy. The breakfast selection was pretty bad. If I had made it a point to get a hotel with free breakfast and I saw what they were offering, I'd be very disappointed.

Pool didn't have water in it. Room was very quiet on back side of the building. It needed a bit of maintenance which I told the front staff about. Breakfast was so so - various frozen things to microwave plus juice, instant oatmeal packets, yogurt. We would stay there again.

Staff was super kind and made us feel safe and welcome. Surrounding area seems safe and is convenient. Rooms were clean enough.

Property was quite clean had a very nice lobby with super nice and helpful staff! The only thing that I was a little disappointed was the pool was being renovated so we couldn’t swim but everything else was great!

The hot tub wasn't open!!

The location of this hotel is perfect. I have stayed here in the winter for a swim meet at Whitworth and stayed here again for a swim meet at Witter pool. The location makes it easy to go downtown or to go north. I also really liked that we had a ground level room which made it easy access for my mom. Will definitely stay again.

It was a beautiful peaceful newly modern updated facility. In a beautiful city of waterfalls. All was great!

I appreciated that I was able to check in early when my travel plans changed. The staff wh helped with this was great. I discovered that one of the pillows on the bed had a small blood stain that went through the pillow case and onto the secondary pillow case. When I went to the front desk to see about getting a different pillow, a different person than when I checked in said something to the effect that their washer had problems with getting out blood stains. I requested a new pillow. Instead, he just got 2 new pillow cases. I didn’t end up using the pillow at all.

Breakfast was nicely displayed. The meals would be excellent for kids and those who travel early. We cannot give this facility enough positive marks. I was pending surgery during my stay. They took good care of my spoiled husband made sure coffee was out even when he could not sleep. He is pending surgery in June and we will again stay here because the team there is simply outstanding! Liked it all no problems!

location was great. Facilities were clean. Room was comfy. Lobby staff was very kind and helpful. Lighting was poor. I arrived at the hotel late so I received the last room available which was close to staff laundry, staff was very loud.

The property was very clean, offered a decent breakfast spread, and was quite comfortable. Location was a bit scary at night and the walls were not sound proof at all. The front staff was not very welcoming during both check in and check out.

Free breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good size bathroom. Not so much didn't like but at the end of a long drive an armchair would be nice to relax in.

Lobby and dining area was minimal - no seating area and dining area wasn’t attractive. Also handicapped parking area was narrow and difficult to exit car.

Plenty of surface parking. Front staff very friendly. There is a very strong musky smell upon entering our room-eventually turning the AC on helped a bit or we somehow just got use to the smell?
