Montvale Hotel

Very nice place, one of my favorite places, parking not ideal

Extremely clean, spacious room, comfortable bed. Good amenities, but would have loved a vending machine for convenience. We will definitely book again when we come to Spokane for another show.

The AC was great . Appreciated the mini frig with the AC. The free breakfast from Rosies was really good and generous. We had one good towel and another that was very rough. The bed was comfy but could use new bed sheets/linens. We were fortunate to fit into the parking behind the hotel but their additional parking is not to far and good value for $5.

Room made sound throughout the night... Wife does a Google search and learns that our specific room has a record of being haunted... She slept very little, pretty unfortunate as it is a nice hotel...Just a.very terrible night sleep unfortunately.

The furniture in our room was old but not antique and it showed wear. It had coffee in the morning, but it was so-so. The breakfast is obtained at a restaurant down the street. 3 choices, no free coffee. We had 3 people, but they only offer 2 free breakfasts per room. That is pretty chintzy, imo. If a hotel is advertising free breakfast, it should be free for all who stay. I wouldn't have chosen an old hotel in a shabby old downtown, but we needed a room for 3 with a separate bedroom and extra bed, and a small fridge and microwave, and it was the only one I found.

Good old feel and nice. Light was coming to my room, which was a problem for me to sleep. It was coming through the blinds.

The bathroom could use some updates and jets in the tub, were dirty and had some mildew buildup. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the property and would stay again!

Nice room, quaint ambiance, comfy bed, spacious bathroom (towels can use an upgrade). Breakfast was at a cafe down the street. Nice place, choice of three items (choose the egg sandwich). A very good value for a nice boutique hotel room.

This place is OK, but they add on a "historical fee" of $10.00 a night that no one ever told me about. So I don't think I will stay there again, If they said right at check-in, "Well you know we have a historical fee because you are staying in this historical area" I might have said OK.

Really cool old hotel in downtown Spokane. Loved the open space for hanging out in the middle of the hotel. Very comfortable room, bathroom was modernized and clean. About a fifteen or twenty minute walk to the carousel/park. The hotel was on the edge of downtown, near a rundown area with homeless encampment but felt safe enough to walk toward downtown and the park.

Lovely place with great history. Within walking distance of all I wanted to do downtown. Great staff. Shaun.

Would be nice to have had free parking especially for the lot in the back. Because the rooms are huge, they need more lighting.

One suggestion would be getting black out blinds. The room was ultra bright at night as the lights outside lighting up the building, also light up the entire room! Other than that, it was good.

Loved the historic atmosphere. Large rooms with fudge and microwave.

Breakfast at Rosie’s was delicious.

The location was great and we loved the hotels charm. Breakfast was a nice addition to our stay.
