Montvale Hotel

Great location, huge rooms, close walk to good restaurants.

Vibe-y old historic building with attentive front staff. Free breakfast 1 block away. Uncovered Parking maybe 2 blocks away but easy to unload vehicle in front of hotel before parking. We did get a ticket one of the days but manager promptly voided it when brought to their attention. Walls are thin is our only complaint. Can easily hear neighbours conversations.

A unique older building that has been modernized very nicely. Access to the parking lot was not great.

This is an old style hotel that has character. I enjoyed it and the included breakfast at the nearby eatery was a positive surprise.

The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. The location is perfect and close to everything.

Loved the location, the atmosphere and the space.

All the staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful, but the hotel is generally not in that great of shape. It's an older building so I'm willing to accept some compromises, but the state of my room was unacceptable.

If you're wanting a historic hotel in a great downtown location (with free parking) this is the place for you! I will stay here again.

Beautiful aesthetic, friendly staff, yummy breakfast burritos (you get up to 2 free breakfasts per room). Nice that they have a coffee & tea station 24/7 but it was out of certain teas and cocoa a few times we checked.

This was a really great hotel that has been renovated and part of bringing a core back to the downtown of Spokane. Great restaurants around and the complimentary breakfast at Rosie's was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. Our pillows in the room seemed a little older and small but it could be that replenishing with new items are taking some time. Really nice stay.

Breakfast was good for location doqm the street from the hotel. Atrium on second floor with comfortable seating area was a bonus. Parking behind the hotel is limited, and parking spaces are cramped and awkwardly positioned. Secure fencing at night was a bonus, though.

Great location town to walk to events in downtown Spokane .

We were within walking distance to the theater and downtown, great location. The room was just right and the reading area outside the room was very spacious and comfortable.
