Inn at 835 Boutique Hotel

Probably the best place to stay while visiting Springfield. The staff, the room, the breakfast, the atmosphere, and the value were all 5 stars. A truly outstanding experience and visit.

Great location for visiting Frank Lloyd Wright house and Lincoln properties! Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Evening cookies were a wonderful treat too

The Inn at 835 was great! We had a huge room with a jacuzzi! The staff was super helpful. They had cheese and drinks in the afternoon, which was nice and cookies at your door at night! It was within walking distance of all the historic sites ( a bit of a hike in the heat!) We had a great stay!

It's lovely if you're into historic properties; definitely is early 20th century decor, which we very much liked. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast was superb.

Stayed for one night, this was the most charming hotel, all the personal touches were amazing, they even leave little cookies at your door, the Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff is extremely friendly and they really make this such a special stay! I can’t wait to come back in the future! This location is a hidden GEM!

Great service and delicious breakfast.

Room was quiet. Smaller than expected. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast staff were very gracious and service was great.

We stayed in the suite and it was perfect for our family of four. The property has been beautifully restored, with key details preserved. The staff were very helpful. Lots of comfort touches such as warm cookies delivered to our room. Beds were comfortable. Everything very clean. No choice on breakfast. Danishes and cereal were put out, but the main meal was chosen by the staff. Location was very close to downtown. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a lovely one night stay at this charming inn. The inn keeper had homemade cookies waiting outside our door when we came back for the night. The breakfast was delicious and the chef/server extraordinaire was very friendly and hospitable.

The Boutique Hotel, In at 835was completely enjoyable. We were pleased with the cozy room and comfortable bud. The breakfast was very tasty and the chocolate chip cookies were a real treat. This inn is located walking distance to all the downtown spots we wanted to see and our hostess was especially helpful with suggestions for dinner. A surprise elevator was most appreciated at the end of a long day’s drive.

From the second, we walked into door, we felt like we were walking into a piece of history. The front desk person that only checked us in, but gave us a tour and told us so many things to do that we weren’t able to accomplish all of them. It was really wonderful experience.

The rooms were very spacious and the location was great for taking in the local sights. It would have been great if there were a staff member at the front desk more of the time for questions. My daughter loved the cookies.

Convenient location, very good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff

The Inn at 835 is a great place to say. The Inn’s location is great The room was quiet and comfortable. It is a historic building and full of charm. The morning breakfast cooked when you arrive and served was a nice touch. The shower was very powerful. There was a full size refrigerator available to use. Carrie was very welcoming and showed us to our room while gong over the details of our stay. Every evening there was a basket of fresh cookies. There is also an afternoon snack in the parlor. I would stay again when visiting Springfield. The only negative is the toilet paper was very rough and the sheets were worn.

Located ON Rt 66, this property is a gem. This historic property is unique as it’s the first built as luxury apts. The staff was wonderful, check in smooth and the best chocolate chip cookies we’ve had in a long time were delivered to our room. The staff is not present all nite but you are provided with an emergency number. Free parking and blocks from historic landmarks. Breakfast is complimentary and different every day.
