Economy Suites Springfield - Extended Stay

The staff was super friendly. When we went into the room, all we could smell.was pine sol. So clean. Good size fridge/freezer. Also had a microwave. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. We will be back!!!!

I relocated from out of state and found this place to be the cheapest rate….after checking the reviews which were mixed but mostly ok after they renovated so decided to give it a chance….i was traveling with my dog whom I let them know about when I checked in and asked if I needed to bring him inside he has also been registered as a service animal a psychiatric service dog and I showed him his card….the first few days were ok the room wasn’t very clean when I checked in I went to get my own cleaning supplies from dollar tree to sweep and mop and clean the tub there was hair everywhere! The beds are comfortable it is quiet and for the price isn’t terrible it was the staff that was extremely rude!! After being checked in for 4 days and already paying for 2 weeks in advance I left town for a few days and came back so they were getting free money again room was paid for two weeks…I come back to go in my room and door was locked key wouldn’t work so I went to the office and let them know my key wouldn’t work he said it was because I lied about my dog I told him I showed him his card when I checked in and he didn’t say there would be a fee….to make a long story short they denied me entry to my room with all of my belongings still inside, the next day I talked to the manager and ended up leaving the property for good and was supposed to be refunded…this was two weeks ago and they never processed the refund and charged the full amount for the two weeks!

WiFi worked. There was no Kleenex in the room. Dirt on the floor and bathroom door needed painting. Looks like it was water damaged.

I was not going to bother leaving a bad review. This property can thank the endless bombardment by email from Expedia requesting a review. I booked this property through Expedia with the understanding that it was nonrefundable. However, I feel that a minimum expectation would be that you could at least access the property for your stay. That was not the case. I had an emergency which was the reason for the stay. I'm a trucker. My truck broke down and I had my 2 dogs with me. I had to get an Uber to the hotel. When we pulled up to the address listed on my reservation it was unoccupied by anyone. No lights, doors locked. No one at the business. I ended up staying around the corner at the Baymont for twice the price.

The AC didn't work. It was basically a fan. The so-called Extended Stay Hotel is basically a full-size refrigerator put into a dinky room. The price was nice. But not as advertised especially on a rainy, muggy night.

There needs to be a notice when you reserve a room online that there will be a deposit when you get to the hotel.

Can't say. Tried canceling my reservation before the cut off time but couldn't get any response.

The property was clean and pet friendly and there was wifi , but there was no laundry site.

I could never find my hotel the night I was supposed to check in. It was a horrible storm and tons of other hotels lined up in a strip, and I could never find the building so I had to check into another random hotel.

Upon entering the my non smoking room it smelled of cigarettes and something else that was burning my nose. There were people milling about all over in questionable states. I did not stay and went to another hotel across town. I did not feel safe with whatever I was breathing in and the clientele.

Everything was great.

Terrible staff. The way they treated my wife after a miscarriage and for getting blood on the sheets so they refused to return my deposit. I would absolutely not recommend ever

For the price was terrible. No phone, closet, ironing board, and ac did not work. Always double booked.
