The first I wasn't so sure how this hotel was going to be as I approached the property it looked old but looks are very deceiving sometimes. I was greeted friendly and had no time checking in. The room was perfect the bed felt great it looked like it was newer it was very very clean both around the property and inside the room. This will be my choice of stay from here on out when I come to Springfield Missouri. Ps the shower pressure was fantastic and we had hot water even after a 20 minute shower... I also extended my hotel stay by 2 days and they were able to accommodate me wonderful wonderful hotel. I had to climb a flight of stairs to be on the second floor because there was no downstairs rooms but that is understandable I checked in late not really a complaint.

Location was good Couldn’t set in chairs. All stained with idk….literally someone either stole the bulbs out of one lamp or they forgot to replace the bulb. Extremely outdated. Cigarette burn marks all over the tub. The bed. Was super comfortable. Was quiet. Walls were painted black. Just a really creepy vibe. Tv didn’t even play cable channels. Had to use my you tube to watch tv. Front desk asked me several times if I had dogs. I said no. He said well if you do it’s 200 cleaning fee. I was traveling for legal trip. No dogs.

The Plaza in is an old hotel but in perfect condition. Our room was large even with a king size bed. There was a sofa and chair so you didn’t have to sit on the bed. Our check in went smoothly. When we left the next morning we had to change our plans and go to a different place. The owner printed out directions that we could easily follow. Really when was the last time you went to hotel and they helped like that? I will make this my hotel stop when I travel through Springfield again. Nothing, it was perfect, even the bed.

While being very dated, the property was well maintained and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable too.
