Baymont by Wyndham Springfield I-44

The hotel is very convenient from the highway, although there's construction being done on the highway, it took a while to find the 44 E on ramp. That would have been helpful. My room was comfortable, and clean. Unfortunately upon arriving the greeting by the hotel clerk was anything but inviting...it was name, rank, serial number, and a series of questions, the first being do I have a reservation! Of course-why would I be in your hotel? I sets a tone when properly greeted, nice to see you and welcome...how was your trip? I was not impressed. So you get what you pay for as they say!!! So dear traveler/s do not expect any fanfare...just answer the questions, get your room key and off to yur room!!!

Staff was great. Room was cleaned and well maintained.

Easy to find off highway

Great location close to everything. When we arrived to our room around 930pm the air had not been turned on. It took until about 330 am to cool down. If they knew booked the room it should have been turned on earlier before our arrival. Im all for saving energy when not in use, but I feel they could have done better.

Seemed safe Man smoking weed just outside the door.

Location was perfect for our trip. It was quiet and well maintained. Staff was professional and courteous. Room as cleaned. AC very cold. We did not try the continental breakfast. Bathroom vent and floor. Vent ran, but really didn't do much to suck out the steam from a shower. The floor tile was very slippery after a shower, even when using a towel to step out on. After it dried, the floor was sticky. My guess, cleaning soap residue.

Breakfast was all that I expected.

Hotel right off the I-44. Staff was courteous and helpful with check-in. Lobby was clean as well as room. Nice breakfast buffet. Would stay again

The staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the woman who was taking care of breakfast that morning. I do not know her name, but she was cheerful and friendly. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of hot and cold options. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The fitness center was a good size and had a good amount of equipment. My only complaint is that the fitness center did not open in the morning until 7 or 8 am. Most fitness centers are open 24 hours. I usually like to work out earlier in the morning. I was not able to use the fitness center in the morning before we left.

I was extremely skeptical on getting this Baymont due to the location. However, it exceeded my expectations! From the up-keep of the property on the outside, to the excellent customer service I received at the front desk, the cleanliness of the rooms, clean bathroom with great water pressure, bed was comfortable, it was a full house, but didn't hear any noise nor disturbances, no weird smells, overall excellent stay. We ended our stay with excellent staff assistance for breakfast with fresh food, extremely clean and organized. You will not regret your stay at this Baymont location! 10/10 for the overall stay!

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and we loved the pool. Would’ve like a hot tub.

The room was okay. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom floor was dirty. The whole place was dated. The smell in the halls was musty from the old carpet. The pool was nice and warm. There is no hot tub. There was not much to the breakfast. We chose to eat somewhere else. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Staff was friendly. Facility was clean and beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Eating area was clean, well kept and very friendly staff. It was all good
