Holiday Inn Express Washington DC SW - Springfield by IHG

Great stay! Staff was very helpful and pleasant, rooms were very clean and practical with space and furniture to make our stay easy. Toilets were very slow and the shower took a long time to get warm. A housekeeping employee walked into our room without warning at 9:30am before an 11am checkout. She was very nice, but it was alarming and I was thankful we were not changing.

Bed was very uncomfortable & pillows were flat. Air conditioner did not continuously cool room, causing hot moments throughout the night.

The shuttle to the metro was a great amenity. I did not move my car during my stay.

Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Lots of shopping and food in the immediate area. Fairly close to the Metro station to return to the airport. Only had views of the highway, but ...... I guess that was ok for the purpose of the trip.

Great location, lots near by … only complaint was super firm bed (which some may like) but I couldn’t sleep on it.

from the staff upin check in,to the housekeeping people,very frienldy.Food was great.Will surely recommend to family and friends the door in the bathroom needs to be taken care of,a little fix on it.

The clerk was super polite and efficient. Our room was perfectly clean, well arranged, and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and there’s plenty of parking and it’s very well lit, which was good cause we had things in our vehicle. We would definitely go back.

Elevator out of order, squeaky bed, no hot water(only a little warm water), noisy staffs(they make so much noise making jokes to each other in the hallway), old noisy AC, shallow walls(I could hear what people staying next door were saying “so clear”). Cheap breakfast with tasteless coffee.

Breakfast was amazing. Was craving the egg white veggie omelet the next day. So happy to see it was on the menu again!! Location was perfect. Entire hotel was so clean. The AC was a little noisy.
