Motel 6 Springfield, VA - Washington DC Southwest

The front desk was very rude. They don't have free wifi. Dog poop everyone. It stinks when it rains. They don't ask if you need new towels, etc. Lots of rats running around on the side where Five Guys is at. No fresh air because you can't open the windows. Overall if I could rate a 0 I would. Please don't stay!!

The room was ok. No towels or wash clothes. Just because you change your room doesn't mean you have to stand where everyone can see you standing there. I paid thousands of dollars at this establishment. This place has people sleeping in the hallways, peeing, smoking weed, In the hallways. This place doesn't have Wi Fi. Coffee that's all they offer. We are paying good money to stay here and you can't even talk to the ladies that clean the rooms because they don't speak any English and the guy at the front is definitely rude and doesn't have any

The motel was serviceable. No Do Not Disturb signs or washcloths were provided. No in-room clock.

I understand budget hotels won’t be luxury accommodations, but basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort should still be met. Unfortunately, this property missed the mark in nearly every area. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Parking lot full of cigarette butts and the smell of piss. Front desk staff were kind and efficient. Room itself was bare bones, which would have been fine… except there was a patch of dust and hair on the floor, probably swept into place and then missed. The bedsheets also had hair and lint from the previous guest, and possibly a few stains. I was exhausted so I just slept on the other side of the bed instead. No bed bugs, at least.

Clean room, nice staff, convenient parking

I stayed at a motel 6 near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania a week ago. It was a horrible place. Was almost not going to use motel 6 anymore. After coming in here it's amazing the difference. The people that run in this place are amazing. The cleanliness the friendliness everything was clean. Property was maintained. The parking lot was taken care of. This hotel kept me a customer motel. 6

Finally, if you choose to stay here, never leave without both keys. Every stay, I had to have one or both keys reprogrammed. The last time both would not work and I had to go to the front desk to have them replaced to get into my room. This hotel was the most aggravating place I’ve ever stayed. Go for one night, any more and you’ll have issues.

Beds were comfortable and room temperature was good. Uneven bathroom floor, bathroom light turns on a fan or loud noise so if you need the light on to go to the bathroom in the night, you risk waking others up.

We arrived and we were given keys for a double bedroom. We went back to the concierge and were told that the King sized bedroom that we RESERVED was given to other people, and that this was the only room left. We decided to stay since it was late and we were tired. When I was given a parking permit, and took it to our car, my wife stayed at the reception area. A man came in asking for a room, and she offered him one, which tells you that she was lying about giving us the only room left. The building in itself is very run down on the inside. I have been to several motel 6 before, and mind you I’m not expecting glamour, but this site is pretty bad like other reviews state. The hallways have a smell of humidity alongside with smoke. Once at the door of our room, we had to comeback down to the concierge since the doors wouldn’t open with the cards we were given. After entering the room we noticed that the bedsheets had old nasty stains all over them in both beds. Moreover, we found blood stains on our towels. To be honest, some of those blood stains on our towels seem recent. Through 4 until 6 am there were people being super loud on the hallway and we couldn’t sleep well. I rarely leave reviews, but please save yourself some trouble and spend a little bit more on another hotel because this is quite disappointing and disgusting altogether. God bless.
