Wingate by Wyndham Springfield

A bit of an outdated looking hotel but for a one to two day stay it's good. Breakfast is included but it's very basic. Not a vacation type of stay but does the job for a needed travel.

The lady at the lobby was very incompetent

The lady at the lobby was just..... no comment. And the room was not as clean as expected: woman's hair under the sheets, dust and hairball on the floor, dusty bathroom and desk.

The rooms are clean and very spacious. The staff are very pleasant and nice. The breakfast is a nice and hot and good. Parking is plentiful.

The rooms are very spacious. The staff are okay. They do say good morning. Breakfast is good 8.5 out of 10. Wednesday's breakfast is bacon day and that's a 10/10. Parking is plentiful. Springfield Mall is right across the street if you don't drive. Also there is a bus stop right across the street. Also they have a shuttle that takes you to the metro and the last pick from the metro station is at 10:45 pm.

The property was close to UCF, clean and well maintained.

The rooms were clean and water pressure strong. I arrived 2 hours early and was charged an extra $25 What an unwelcome surprise. The room did not have a chair and the bed was so high I needed assistance getting into it I’m 5’3” . The halls were musty and hot. There was no coffee or hot water in the lobby at night through early morning. I’m often up through the night and always very early in the morning. I do not disturb my husband with using a coffee pot or microwave. He needs his rest to drive. Breakfast was nothing special . I will not go there again. Very unhappy traveller.

The room needs updating. The cable TV is slack compared to other hotels that provide multiple options along with the TV itself being old and small. I'd give it 2.5 out of 5.

Staff was amazing under the circumstances of the hotel requiring severe repairs.

I arrived at the hotel at about 3am. Staff on duty got me checked in quickly. My stay was pleasant the cleaning crew were nice. I loved the variety of breakfast choices. Hotel is located in a convenient location.

Great experience overall

My room is spacious and very clean. Housekeeping are very sweet and nice. The staff are awesome and very knowledgeable. Breakfast is very good and they have a variety of different breakfast items such as eggs, sausage, bagels and a waffle maker. Parking is plentiful!

Nice place to stay and the breakfast was very good. A little pricey, but it was near the blue line Metro Station for easy access into Washington DC.

We have stayed at this hotel before. We feel that for the price, it is a good option in a pricey area. The location is unbeatable. Easy on/off the interstate, and there are plenty of restaurants close by.
